I like the black. White always reminds me of liquid paper. But if you can't decide, you try all black & get a white accent nail (ring  finger.

Black nails seem kind of outdated to me, granted I was goth for a few years so I probably purged the color black out of my system

Something like this if you can't decide? I honestly think black looks nicer and white will most likely chip quicker and get dirty.

You could do something with black and white, like black with French tips (is that right?) or something. I think black would be better as a main colour.

I prefer white acrylic nails. I have long white nails and like it so much. I have found a lot of pictures of white nails on http://nailartstyle.com/top-55-white-acrylic-nails and want to do one of them after my present design.
