Okay, I didn't get the clarisonic but I have this cheap electric brush that I got from 5below until I can invest in one. I've had it for about 2 weeks and I have a lot of bumps on my face ( well more than usual). I clean the brush with antibacterial soap and I'm not wearing makeup at the moment. Is this normal to break out using this?

I have a Clarisonic and it's pretty normal to experience a purging stage. It doesn't happen to everyone but it is very common.

Does the brush head/bristles move or spin in any way?

Yes. Like Alexis said its called purging. It's basically your skin barfing up all the yuckies that have been trapped under the surface for so long. It means it's working. Everyone's skin is different, but when I got my clarisonic mine lasted 2-3 weeks

Clarisonics are not for everyone. Even cheaper brushes. It's not the price or quality of the brush making you break out. If you have acne prone skin facial brushes are not very good for your skin. Actually even if you're not acne prone and you had a small break out it could irritate your skin. So there is that instance too. These brushes are a great way to get a good clean but they aren't necessarily the best for everyone.

Thanks you guys! Yes it does spin around. So should I continue to use it or stop?

Since the brush head actually moves I suggest discontinue using it and getting an actual Clarisonic, which uses sonic pulses to deeply cleanse the skin rather than moving which can cause micro tears in the skin and make skin worse in the long run.

YouTube clarisonic vs foreo! And compare which is better for your skin. I used the clarisonic for months, waiting for it to get better after the "purging" but apparently it just doesn't work for some. I moved on and purchased a foreo and my skin is glowing now.

I agree with Angela. For some skin types, the clarisonic can be too abrasive, especially the knockoffs that spin instead of pulsate. There are a ton of foreo luna knockoffs out there, some with glowing reviews, some with scathing reviews, so do your homework if you go that route. Or if you're determined to make a brush work, perhaps get a manual one so you have more control. Sephora sells one for around  $15.
