I'm looking to buy a new curler and was wonder which would be better for voluminous waves. I currently have a 3/4 curler but want something that gives more waves to my hair, which would you recommend?

@vickie I use a curler but don't use the clamp on it, I just wrap my hair around and hold, so it's like I'm using a wand.

It's definitely true that a bigger barrel will give you a looser curl. a 1.25 and a 1.5in curler are usually great for big loose waves. the length of your hair and how big the pieces you curl are will make a difference though. in general, the shorter your hair is the smaller the barrel you need for the same results. And the smaller pieces of hair you curl at once the more defined your waves/curls are going to be.
