I'm really interested in trying out the new Urban Decay All Nighter foundation but I've heard mixed reviews so I'm thinking it may be a pass for me. I have dry skin with some texture, especially around my nose. 2 questions: does it cling to dry patches and is it cakey?

I don't rate it to be honest, like you, I have dry textured skin around my nose and it always clings to them a lot, also because I have combination skin I have a little oil on my t zone and some blemishes and the four stood doesn't last long on those parts of my face, even when I set it. I would recommend the nars sheer glow of you have some dry skin because it makes you look so fresh and flawless without being cakey, I would also recommend the illamasqua skin base foundation, it is so pigmented but can be sheered out or marry ok coverage! Hope this helps 😌

This foundation definitely has a very VERY matte finish so if you have dry skin it will emphasize any dry patches or texture you have on your skin. It doesn't really look cakey, though. For as full coverage as it is it feels very lightweight. I personally wouldn't recommend this for us dry skin girls.

Thank you girls! I had a feeling that was going to be the case 🙂

No problem! I don't think it's a bad foundation, it's just certain skin types you know? My friend bought the exact same foundation and it looked amazing on her and stayed on forever, but her skin is normal, it all depends on your skin type really :)

I agree, Lydia. I think those with oily skin will love the UD all nighter. :)
