So I have been struggling with subclinical acne for about 2 years now I recently went on birth control for my bad periods I get but it also helped with the acne but I'm left with little brown and red dots all over my forehead I've tried so many products and nothing seems to work any ideas?

I suggest exfoliating, using vitamin C, and wearing SPF everyday. I use the Boscia Exfoliating Peel Gel (very gentle but effective) and a moisturizer with SPF. I've also started using the Ole Henrikson Truth Serum and that's really been helping fade my hyper pigmentation (:

I made a post about the same thing a few days ago and got some great feedback. Check it out!

Primary treatment steps should be using a chemical exfoliant at least once a day, as well as daily SPF that provides broad spectrum protection. For the oily/acne prone, Paula's Choice makes some of the best exfoliants on the market and I cannot recommend them enough; their range of properly formulated salicylic acid products is extensive. Sun protection is much more personal though, but aim for at least SPF 30, and again make sure that the label has "broad spectrum" written somewhere. You are looking for ingredients such as Avobenzone in a synthetic sunscreen, and Zinc Oxide/Titanium Dioxide in mineral sunscreen.

Once you have products that agree with your skin in the above two categories, incorporating a good variety of vitamins/antioxidants with supplementary skincare will augment your results.
