Hey guys! So I'm going to Sephora tomorrow and I really have my eyes set on getting an eyeshadow and highlight palette. So I have two questions: Should I get the TF Milk Chocolate Bar Palette or the ABH Modern Renaissance palette? Which ABH Glow Kit is your favorite? I don't really have any preferences but I am olive skinned with a neutral undertone if that helps.

I would get the Modern Renaissance palette. I hate the smell of the chocolate bar palettes. Plus the colors of the ABH palette will look amazing on your skin tone as described. My fave glow kit is the moonchild one, but you might want to look at something more natural. I would give you a name but I am not really familiar with the glow kit variations.

Those are both beautiful shadow palettes but I'm bias when it comes to the Chocolate Bar. It's just a staple palette to have esp. for warm , golden & olive skintones and the sturdy & cute packaging is awesome, not to mention it smells like chocolate. The Chocolate Bar is the whole package! Sorry, can't give you an opinion on those particular highlighting palettes, because I don't own any of them. I also have an olive skintone, bordering on medium & tan. And my favorite highlighters are Laura Geller Gilded Honey, Becca Opal, Mallys Effortless Airbrush Highlighter /blush duo and a limited edition Bobbi Brown Shimmer brick in sandstone. I prefer highlighters that don't have a white or silver base which can appear chalky on my skintone even if the shade is on the medium side.

I love my chocolate bar palette! It can go from everyday looks to dramatic looks. I use it constantly. The shadows blend nicely and are super pigmented. I've been trying to get my hands on the MR palette but can't find it anywhere unfortunately. I don't have any highlighting palettes so I can't help with that :/

I don't have any Chocolate Bar Palettes but I do have the Modern Renaissance palette and it's amazing, the shadows are so pigmented and blend so smoothly and easily. I definitely recommend it!

I love the Modern Renaissance palette, it's probably my all time favorite. If you do warm toned looks a lot, you'll love it. I only own the Sundipped Glow Kit but I seriously love that as well. Not all the shades work for me as face highlights but the ones that do are stunning!

I love my Chocolate Bar Palette but the ABH is awesome. I loveeeee it. Now for highlight, I hands down love my Kevyn Aucoin highlighter. I'm definitely a highlighter junkie but its my favorite. If you are wanting a really intense glow, then go with Anastasia or Becca. A lot of people like Laura Geller but I think you can only get that at Ulta, and I have only swatched it in store. I kinda stopped with my highlight craze after I started using Kevyn Aucoins...

I love my chocolate bar palette! Definitely one of my faves. ABH palettes/eye shadows are great as well. I really want to get the Anastasia Modern renaissance palette but its out of stock at ulta :( I have the ABH highlight palette in "that glow" I love it but I don't think they sell that shade anymore.

I'm absolutely obsessed with the abh palette

It might come down to what's available in the store because the ABH Modern Renaissance pallette has been sold out for a while. But if I had my choice of the two, that's the one I'd go for. Highlighter-wise, I am freaking OBSESSED with the ABH glow kit in Moonchild. Who would ever imagine that lavender or mint green would look good on the cheekbones? That kit is TO DIE! Have fun shopping! :)

I have the ABH Modern Renaissance and the TF Chocolate Bar, and I say go with the Chocolate Bar! They are both super quality eyeshadow palettes, but the ABH can be a little bit less wearable with all the red tones. The TF is more versatile, and while you can do dramatic stuff with it, I think it is better for an every day palette when compared to the ABH.

As for a glow kit, I think light golden tones would be great!
