I have stiletto nails with my natural nail. I grew them out to the length I wanted and just shaped them myself, they require a lot of maintenance though to assure that they don't break, but I just use a sally hansen vitamin nail hardener. They're fun. You could get them acrylic though.

They're acylics. They'll shape them for you at the salon just like they do the square or moon shape. But I have bought fake nails and done them myself. It's easier if the nails you buy are an oval shape instead of a square shape so It'll be easier to file them. I've never tried it on my own nails though. But im sure now that stilleto nails are so popular they'll have some you can buy already shaped like that. Just keep a look out for them!

I have very very short nails, but in all the pictures it looks like its acrylic. Do most just sharpen the fake nail? Is there any place you can purchase stiletto shaped nails?
