I use witch hazel twice a day on my face. it seems to keep my acne down. also wash my face with clearasil ultra face wash. I know everyone's face is different but hopefully that will give u some ideas. you can get everything at Wal-Mart.

I use Clinique on the spot acne solution for any time I feel a pimple coming. It is like magic and helps it go away like overnight or at most 2 days. I've always heard great things about it too & I've been using it for last 2 yrs & I have combination skin.
You can get it at sephora it's like $15 I think.

I wash my my face with head to toe Johnson's baby wash, then pat witch hazel all over my face, then my Mac skin brightening serum for the dark spots from my acne scars then pat on my Nivea visage rich moisturing day care instead of rubbing. At night I do the exact same except I pat on some tea tree oil on any acne problem areas and use Nivea visage light regenerating night care instead of the day care. It's been working very well for me I've been doing it about 6 weeks and I'm nearly clear I might get one pimple a week which is great because it felt like I was getting one a day before. The reason I feel like this is working is because my skin is never left dry, it's very well moisturizing so my body feels no reason to make an excess of oil anymore to clog my pores. I make sure to drink a lot if water, I usually drink bottled water it helps me keep an account of how much water I've drank that day. I also wash my sheets and pillow cases every 3-4 days.

Benzoyl peroxide usually works pretty well for face and body acne

This is a really cheap helpful method. Take baking soda and mix with a little bit of water to make a paste. Keep it on until it dries then wash off with hot water. Keep doing it 1 to 2 times a day for as long as it takes. Make sure to moisturize. Hope it works!

I'd say go to a dermatologist and have them prescribe you antibiotics it works by killing the bacteria that causes acne they will also prescribe you a topical like retin a or an antibiotic cream

I suffer from acne and my advice to you would be to go to a dermatologist and use gentle skin care products that will not further irritate your skin. Also do not feel like you have to wash your face constantly, even if your skin is really oily. Doing this can dry out your skin and cause even more oil production. I wash my face twice a day, once in the morning with warm water only and once at night with Simple face wash. I found that over the counter acne products did nothing for me, I really wish I went to the doctor sooner. I'm not on antibiotics and differin and finally my skin is improving. I didn't get instant results, it took about 3 months to start seeing a significant improvement but I am really happy with it.
