The best colours are contrasting ones. mine tend to pop when i use gold eyeshadow, and then rim my eyes with a jet black liner. Also, purples, blues, greens, and other shades of brown. Brown is a neutral so mostly anything works. but for a POP you wanna contrast, or look for colours already in your iris. like, maybe yours have green, or golden.
Once, i saw a really nice baby pink, with brown in the crease for brown eyes. But, of course a pink to suit the skin! Ha.
Purple smokey eyes are beautiful for dramatic looks. or black winged liner with a blue in the waterline.
