Ive personally never done it as ive heard mix reviews. 469) Avoid using toothpaste on pimples as a spot treatment. The chemicals in the toothpaste may be to harsh for the skin, and the fluoride in it can dry your skin out and leave scars.
I personally LOVE the lemon juice method! You apply lemon juice to a cotton ball and leave it on your pimple, i usually leave it on for 5 mins and wash it off with cold water. Then in a couple hours it will come to a head

I would say no! It leaves your skin so red and scars, at least it did mine

Toothpaste is a good idea for pimples as long as you use moisturizer after the treatment or you can get very dry skin around area

Ive been battling with acne for how long i cldn't remember.I did try using toothpaste but its too strong for my face to adapt with it.My advice is try calamine lotion without menthol and toner with no alcohol such as rosewater or witch hazel.Hope this helps;)

There are ingredients in tooth paste that are irritants to skin. Better off just getting a traditional spot treatment made specifically for acne and leave the toothpaste for your teeth.

Fyi Minors should not use salicilic acid/aspirin at all. Even trace amounts can lead to Reyes syndrome blindness or death.

It might work, but it is NOT good for your skin as a spot treatment. Neutrogena makes a really good spot treatment

Crushed aspirin just 1 works better and reduces inflammation

Yes it leaves scars but don't belive that it will dry up a big red pimple in 1use try using a pure benzol peroxide or salicilic acid formula to dry it out but don't over do it!! goodluck

Try eating a yogurt with 5 or more different strains of probiotic bacteria per serving and wash lightly so that you're not sterilizing your face. If you have an older family member with great skin brush cheeks the next time you hug to get thier superior bacteria colonizing your face too.

Both baking soda and toothpaste raise the ph of your skin beyond the range that's optimal for bacteria. Make sure to neutralize afterwards. Killing the friendly bacteria on your face can leave you blotchy

Befor u grab the tooth paste u might want to us pore strips they are both doing the same thing but pore strips or acne cream designed for skin not teeth and less likely to dry out skin.

It helps by freezing it. You will notice the acne will get dry then you can scrub it and, there, the acne is gone.

Use benzoyl peroxide cream no tooth paste is ment for your mouth be cause all the acid and tar can hurt your skin or make it irritated

Toothpaste will work but only the creamy white kind. Only because of its drying properties. The toothpaste with the abrasive material or the gel kind won't work the same.
