I would try a 44/65 by wella with a 20 vol . It will give you red tones to your hair and keep you In the brown family , but the up keep will be easy and it looks amazing in the sun ... And will be a nice slow change for you and this color will look good with your skin tone .

My advice if your scared of the shock of change at once with your complexion is try a chocolate brown ( prof done) if you adjust to the red well in that then you can brighten it to the color you like. :) I've been every "red" you can imagine an I love red hair but its a lot of upkeep an expense to maintain the look an keep it hlthy. Be prepared to spend dbl to protect your investment... Good luck!!

The black dye has to be lifted.. Color won't lift color, it looks like a level 2 or 1 so you will unfortunately have some damage done to lift it to a base to deposit the red... You won't get that red in a box. It's also multi tonal red. At least 3 diff shades

An another piece of advice most women miss with changing hair color... Match the tone to your eyebrows look at the pic, it's professional color an her brows match.. Big tip with red colored hair!

That's a very bright red an will be a drastic change.. You have the complexion to pull it off but do it gradually! Do not box dye you won't get the results your looking for... Have a professional place the red in like a highlight.. Red is easy to turn brassy an fade an the "hardest" to get rid of if you don't like it.. Beautiful color an you would rock it with your complexion but do it gradual an by a professional to save you the damage an "SHOCK of the color change...

I use manic panic, jerome russell punky colors, and adore to keep my red. I have level 5 natural brown hair. I mix at least 2 different reds together & apply to my whole head. I put on a shower cap & let it sit for 3 hours. I rinse with very cold water. When the water finally runs clear I rinse my hair again with a one part water one part white vinegar mix. Then I condition & do not wash my hair for 3-4 days. Good luck :)

You're gorgeous and I think you'd look good with pretty much any hair color. If you want to try the red you could do highlights, like others have suggested, but I think you'd look amazing with an Alexa Chung-style ombre in a red tone. Those would both limit damage as well. If you think you might want to do all-over then you could test out a semi-permanent like Clairol Natural Instincts in Spiced Tea. I tried it once before I went permanently red and it was a little dark for me, but it would probably be a great transition for you. And that way you could make sure you loved it before you spent money in a salon.

Well thats what im planning to do
Gaetano S. my friend is a hair stylist well and color specialist and all of the makeup and stuff i forgot the name that u call those people anyways lol imajine if i do it my self i would take a long timee and plus well thats the reason why i cut mu hair in the first place. I got pregnant without knowing and had my hair like a light brownish with gold highlights but when they told me i was pregnant i stopped dyeing my hair so i used a henna color dye
But after i delivered i cut my hair really short so they cut it and left ONLY my healthy hair but i dyed it black but now 7 months later i got tired of black hair so i want to go for that red color so i can change my appearance haha MAKEOVERRR(: lol
