So my hair was a light brown but i wanted to touch it up. So i went to sallys bought the hair dye, left it on for 20 minutes. Came out a dark brown. I'm so unhappy. I'm very pale so it washes me out.
Is there anyway i can lighten it?????
I tried baking soda shampoo mixture but it didn't do much. I want to get a bottle of Prell or clarifying shampoo. Idk if it'll work though.

Hi Heather what kind of colour was it you used was it a permanent colour? If it was you'll have to wait for it to fade naturally ( and use a clarifying shampoo) don't put another colour over the top as this will only darken it more.

It was called a medium neutral brown. But i think it turned so dark because my hair was a very light brown. Okay! Thank you!! I just hope it fades.

Either go to a salon or wait for it to fade out a bit.

Honey and lemon helps lighten up your hair! Good luck!

When ever I put lemon juice in my hair it gives it high lights. It works best with heat so I normally sit in the sun and get my tan on too :) I think a blow drier will probably do the trick too just maybe not as fast since you don't have the suns affect on it. :) I've herd of shampoos that do the job too!
