I love Viseart, but most of the time I am am not as impressed by the palette in my hands as opposed to seeing it reviewed on YouTube. NOT THIS ONE!!! Violette is absolutely stunning, and will most likely be a go-to because I am OBSESSED with purple!! LOL Typical Viseart quality, creamy, rich, all the good stuff!32 found this helpful.Josephine L. Oh my goodness she is a beaute !
This color story is the one I’ve been waiting for! If you love soft muave colors you will love this. It has the perfect balance of warm and cool tones that combine so well together for plenty of different looks. There are A few different textures (mattes, metallic, very subtle duo chromes) but all very soft and sophisticated. Nothing crazy dramatic but soft dreamy looks. This is my first time trying viseart and the I love the formula. Compared to Charlotte tilbury, PG, and Natasha denona, the metallics aren’t as foiled and creamy but they aren’t as thick which I like and still look divine. The mattes are buildable, blend and diffuse with no effort which I prefer- (a layer is sheer but build up to full intensity if you want). Overall the formula is more powdery but none have fallout except the shade on the lower most left (very slight). I find this formula very sophisticated, buildable, easy to work with, forgiving on my eyes, and last incredibly well as it layers thinly on my hooded eyes. Buildable formulas give me control in intensity and are versatile for whether I’m going to a party or going to work. The packaging is just so gorgeous and this size palette is just perfect. I’m usually one to never get anything more than a quint but viseart’s etundu palettes are non-intimidating, easy, cohesive not to mention travel friendly.20 found this helpful.Tina K. Dec 18, 2020
Viseart has outdone themselves with this palette!! Let me tell you, the Jezebelle shade alone makes the whole palette! If you like purple than this IS the palette for YOU! Not much fallout, nice creamy texture. I'm glad I took the chance and picked it up, it's my new go to palette now!16 found this helpful.Sabine S. May 08, 2021
I really love this palette
Sure, this palette is not really highly pigmented (except for the dark brown shade) but in the end it doesn’t have to be, because for me the color story describe a “beauty beach wave-feeling” and at the beach I want to wear a soft make up look. The warm tones (yellow, peachy, brown and red) are wonderful colors for any skin tones, I think. The cool blue-tone is very sheer, but when you apply it with your finger it works really well. I recommend this palette for absolutely everyone7 found this helpful.Cara M. Apr 29, 2021
Liason's fun older sister
Liason is my all time favorite purple palette so I was thrilled when Violette was announced! While there is some shadow crossover with Liason, Violette stands on its own with a deeper, brighter color story and the addition of duochrome metallics. Purple, especially when cool toned, is a notoriously difficult color to formulate but yet again, Viseart gets it right. The mattes are highly pigmented but buildable and, as always, require little effort when blending. They look on the eye as they do in the pan, don't muddy up and, because they aren't silicone heavy, crease and fade less, even without eye primer. The metallics and duochromes are stunning; intense, high shine and easy to work with although I do recommend applying over glitter glue to reduce fallout. Viseart has shown, yet again, that it is possible to create amazing cool toned purple shadows and I can't recommend this highly enough! **Full disclosure- I received Violette from Viseart for free but I'm under absolutely no obligation to review; I just love it and want to share my thoughts. I probably pestered Anastasia Viseart for another cool toned purple palette so much that she created this and sent it to me just to shut me up :)5 found this helpful.Michele L. Jun 04, 2021
Great Quality Shadows!
This is the first time I’ve tried a Viseart and I’m very impressed by the pigment and overall quality of the shadows. This palette is up there with my two favorite palettes from Natasha Denona and Pat McGrath. Lovely shades and the way they blended...wow! I can’t wait to order another one.3 found this helpful.
