My favorite eyeshadows

I absolutely adore every single Urban Decay eyeshadow. They're all gorgeous and very pigmented. I would even go as far as saying I love them more than MAC. I used to not all the shimmer but then they came out with matte colors! but right now i'm loving shimmer haha. Especially oil slick, i love lining my eyes with this color because it's so shimmery and sparkly it's a nice little touch to your liner :)

Oil slick looks slick

This is a cool eye shadow. It's a black base with iridescent glitter. For some reason, I don't get glitter fallout on my face when I wear this compared to when I where Urban Decay's Midnight Cowboy. Perhaps it's in the formulation. Anyway.

LOVE this shade. It's completely unique from anything I've seen (in a pressed pan formula anyway). And who doesn't love a glittery black anyway? I definitely recommend this for evening, though. Use it as a liner, for crease work, smudged on the lashlines, even smudged and blended up from the lid for a smokey eye. To get optimum glitter effects, I recommend first treating Oil Slick as you would any other shadow: blend it with a brush. After you get your desired pigmentation, dampen your ring finger and dip it into the pan to get a full coating of oil slick on your finger tip. Then, pat the Oil Slick on your lids...the glitter should now show up really well.

*********************** Urban Decay makes some of the best quality shadows on the market. They are creamy, smooth, pigmented, and have adorable “grungified” packaging! They are the same size as MAC eye shadows so they can be depotted into convenient 4-pan and 15-pan palettes. For $17, you pay for .05 oz of product which really isn't that much. It's at a pretty high cost per shadow, so you have to pick and choose the gem's of Urban Decay's eye shadow collection
