soooo pigmented!

This has to be one of my favs off of the new NYC book of shadows palette! Trying out a few looks this past weekend & this is the color I used both times! I love how pigmented the colors are. I used Last Call on my lid & used Flash on the outer corner to smoke it out. Its an amazing combo. The only thing I would have to complain about is that the gorgeous colors faded after a few hours, even after using the primer. Other than that, I LOVE my UD!!

Dramatic purple toned shade

Last Call is a beautiful plummy/maroon/pink with hints of gold. Sounds very...interesting but it's actually quite flattering when applied right. A lot of people compare it to MAC Star Violet eye shadow, but I'd say it's a little less golden toned than Star Violet. I love wearing it on the lid with a beigey gold as a wash, and violet eyeliner (try Bobbi Brown Violet Gel Liner). If you want to be dramatic, pair it with a iridescent blue (Last Call on the lids, the blue in the outer corners blended up)

*********************** Urban Decay makes some of the best quality shadows on the market. They are creamy, smooth, pigmented, and have adorable “grungified” packaging! They are the same size as MAC eye shadows so they can be depotted into convenient 4-pan and 15-pan palettes. For $17, you pay for .05 oz of product which really isn't that much. It's at a pretty high cost per shadow, so you have to pick and choose the gem's of Urban Decay's eye shadow collection
