Pure Luxury
I received this product complimentary for review by influenster. I was beyond excited to receive the shade 6.5 Sable because it was pretty much a spot on match to my skin tone! Before I even opened the package; I was almost scared to fall in love with it because of the hefty price tag, but I’ve always been a believer of you get what you pay for! As soon as I opened the box I was amazed by how unbelievably beautiful the packaging was! Pure luxury and I was crossing my fingers that what was inside was just as great. The first thing that stood out to me was the smell. Not the biggest fan of the potent scent of the SPF but I was glad that over time the scent faded. I’m very sensitive to smell so that In all honesty was almost a deal breaker for me! The coverage was pretty sheer, I did have to use about 3-4 pumps and layer to get my desired coverage. I applied initially with a brush and then switched to a beauty blender. The coverage was very breathable, and left me skin looking plump with a subtle glow and overall just looking healthy and youthful. I wore for about 10-12 hours and there was no fading or need to retouch. The 2nd time I used the foundation I used a stickier base and it did separate so I don’t recommend mixing. Overall I’m impressed with this product. I’m using it on special occasions and when I want to look extra polished!
Tom, Tom, Tom
When it comes to Tom Ford, I have a little bit of an obsession with his fragrance line, but his foundation line is new to me. Everything about this item screamed high-end luxury brand; packaging, bottle, foundation...gorgeous, just like I expect from Tom. When applying it, I thought it looked best with a brush because I could control the amount of product with a light application. I found as the day went on, the foundation magically because more beautiful...yes, it’s a mystery to me too. Bottom line, I’m a fan of this foundation and it might just find its way into my cart in the future. Thanks Influenster for allowing me to try this foundation and give my honest opinion!

A pesar de que la marca la describe como una base de cobertura mediana, pude notar que es bastante ligera, el acabado es muy natural y luminoso, en pieles un poco secas como la mía me va perfecta, dando una apariencia hidratada, saludable y brillante. El aroma del protector solar es bastante obvio, ya que es SPF 50, un factor muy importante en una base de maquillaje.
