Face Two takes the guesswork out of contouring and sculpting the face, thanks to a slender tuft that lays down sheer and pigmented products alike with a second-skin finish. Decadently soft and sized for both application and blending, this multipurpose face brush brings out the best in blushes, bronzers, and contour powders, diffusing them over the skin without any visible lines.
“I believe in smaller face brushes—this one is super-soft and dense yet airy enough to be used for both sheer and heavily pigmented payoff.” — Sonia G.
Pick up product with the tip of the brush and tap off any excess. Apply and blend using circular motions.

Lovely quality, high end brush. Gorgeous shimmery lacquered finish on the handle.
The brush head has a flat top with curved bevelled edges around the circumference. I found the hair volume, density, firmness/resilience, and arrangement tended to lend itself to stippling on pigmented powdered product, followed by a gentle swirl/sweep to diffuse a little more.
The bristle tips are soft on the skin. They feel like the surface of a powder puff placed on top of a set of firm bristles (if that makes sense). The bristle resilience down the length of the hair is strong enough to use a buffing technique, if that is your preference. They don’t buckle when stippling, allowing for reliable placement.
The hair can certainly pick up a lot of product quickly; particularly useful if you have less pigmented blushes.
As with all of Sonia’s goat-hair-only brushes, when picking up product, less is more due to very efficient pickup. They also deposit product reliably.
Washes well, diameter expands/fluffs slightly after washing, no hair fallout whatsoever during washing or use.
I haven’t attempted to multi-task with this brush as I enjoy the Sonia G Sculpt Three for accurate powder sculpting or highlighting and the Sonia G Sculpt One for powder bronzing.
This brush performs the way I had hoped the CHIKUHODO Makie Series MK-12 Cheek would perform for me. The CHIKUHIDO Cheek brush is too dense and directional for my liking. While the the Face Two brush is much more airy feeling on the skin, and have enough give to spread out more. But it still has enough stucture and strenght to be efficient, while still feeling silky soft on the skin. I much prefer this brush!
I added the Mac 209 brush In the photo for size comparisons.
I have been looking for a brush to apply blush with and this is exactly what I have been wanting. I have a Chikuhodo Z-4 which is nice, but is too floppy. I have a couple other brushes that are not right for one reason or another. This Face Two brush is perfection for me. It is dense yet not stiff and applies blush with little to no effort. It lays down the just the right amount of color and blends so well. This is the brush of my dreams.
The quality of the brush is definitely great - super soft on the skin and the size is perfect for contouring or blush application. I removed one star because it’s starting to shed even if I’ve only used it twice and didn’t wash it when I got it. I watched videos saying you shouldn’t wash right away and that’s what I did. For the price I paid, I expected to get great quality which also meant no shedding.. at least for the first year or so...
I love this blush brush SO much more than I expected to. I have several blush brushes (high and low end) and wasn't sure I needed another, boy was I wrong. This brush is unbelievably soft and picks up and lays down the perfect amount of blush. Never streaky, just perfection. I have a Nars blush that for whatever reason, my other blush brushes just can't pick up the right amount of it, this brush shocked me by it's performance. Both of her fan brushes and this blush brush are my all-time favs!
It is open and has loose hair therefore allows a very natural finish, is perfectly integrated blush, it seems that the blush was natural. It also serves to tan and any type of powder, without doubt a multipurpose brush. The quality of the brush is excellent both the handle and the hair, I think they are unique brushes.
I am very surprised by what an amazing job this does on blush. As in I am astounded. It has worked with my gradient blush kit from ABH which has been a pain to work with for the wrong reason. Those blushes are vey pigmented, long lasting, and smooth. When using other brushes I got a heavy streaky look. With this brush, it was a JOY to use. I am so glad that these came out as singles! I plan to pick one up at a time. I hope she comes out with more products and takes her time doing so. Sonia, thank you. This is truly a beautiful creation and I will treasure it as such. <3
I agree with one of the reviews I've seen that with so many blush brushes, do I still need one more? The answer is definitely Yes! I have been using flat brushes for blush all my life, and have never liked how blushes look on my face. This one is so soft and precise, I can control really well where to place the blush pigment and the soft hair allows me to blend the powder into such a fine layer of translucent color. This is probably my favorite Sonia G. brush (I own 4 of her face ones).
I have almost all of them now, none of which have disappointed me in any way. I am always surprised at the quality and workmanship of these brushes, not because I expect less - it's because it surpasses my expectations. I knew it was going to be good, but again blown away at how much I really love these. These are worth the $$.
My new favorite blush brush. It works so well with my less pigmented blushes- the ones that I had to layer. The brush is soft yet has a brilliant density. I can also apply powder with it- so versatile. With my deep blushes, I barely touch the brush to the pan and tap it off- gorgeous flush of color. Its shape is great for buffing onto the apples of the cheeks. Sonia G brushes are exquisite, such a treat. I love artisan Japanese brushes and these are worth every penny.
