I bought one in the shade "Queen" and was not so impressed. I thought i would give it a try because I've seen so many people love the product. This is a drying product and definitely should be pared with a lip gloss. I do like how pigmented it was, but its just not for me. A little goes a long way!
I picked this lip tar up at Sephora! I really love the pigmentation and the slickness of the product. It goes on slick but dries to satin finish. It has a peppermint scent to it and also comes with a little pouch and brush. When applying a little goes a long way. I experimented with it using a nude lipstick and it gave a very pretty baby doll pink.
I love lip tar. Super pigmented, long lasting and you only have to use a minimal amount. This is my go to color now. I love that Queen is such a vibrant coral/red it's almost neon to me at times. I also love that you can mix it with lip gloss so it's not so opaque and vibrant. Because you have to use such a little amount I know this is going to last a long time. I will be investing in more colors for sure.
But it does last all day! I used a bright lip gloss and it almost looked neon. However, after using my amethyst over the top and lining my lips my favorite color it looked better than if I had used it over my own nude lips.
