Nice creme blush from the drugstore

I've become a blush/bronzer/cheek product fanatic of late, and this product helps me create some pretty stellar cheek looks. I love the cute packaging- its study glass, small enough for makeup kits and portable enough for travel, and has a cute, informative lid. I heard about the Dream Matte Mousse foundation from Maybelline first, then got this later. I've had this creme blush for awhile now- and theres still a lot left, and its not drying out. There is an ample amount in the jar, too. Looking at it now, its still as soft and spongy as ever! I like to use this as a base for powder blushes- it helps set the creme blush and gives your cheek color some major impact. Without a powder over it, I didn't notice much fading, but there probably was some, like many of you gals mentioned. Rose petal is a nice shade- a shade I tend to gravitate to all the time- on the lids, lips and cheeks. When swatched and on the cheek, you get a nice, dusty pink, with a lot of gold shimmer. You might need a few layers, despite the creaminess, to build the color. The creme has a crumbly texture, that you need to flatten out, in order to spread. The gold shimmer is quite pronounced when swatched, but I don't find it too distracting on the cheek. However, putting your powder blush over this one, will cut out/blanket some of that shimmer. I don't think the gold shimmer would be too unflattering for someone, but watch out if you're a cooler undertone person who doesn't feel great in gold colors. I don't mind the gold shimmer, but I kind of wish I knew it would be present- I bought this for its color, not necessarily the shimmer factor, even the gold shimmer factor. I didn't get to pick a silver shimmer as opposed to a gold shimmer, even though the gold is fine. That shimmer does add some warmth to that pink, mind you. I also heard you could use some of these as creme bronzers which I would love to do. All in all these are great, but a little shimmer heavy. They also have a lot of parabens in them.

Great base for powder blushes!

I actually received this from a friend who didn't like it who received it from another who didn't like it. At first I thought I didn't like it either, and understood why they didn't want it, however, lately more and more of the youtube gurus I watch have been recommending to apply cream blush before a powder blush to help it stay put- which is great for me because normally my blush seems to slowly disappear or even spread out on my face, making my complexion look overall a bit shimmery or pink, but still one color (the opposite of what we want when we apply blush!)

I've also started applying this higher on my cheekbones and closer to my temples (it's just more flattering for my face shape). Lately, I love the way this illuminates my ELF and NARS blushes; it amplifies my cheekbones and actually helps them to stay on! For how affordable it is, I definitely recommend to anyone who has problems with blush soaking into their skin, or, if you've purchased this and are disappointed with it, try it again as a primer!

I really like this blush. It stays on for a long time and I love how there are little gold sparkles in it because it really compliments my skin tone. I love the texture and this blush is one of the only blushes that doesn't make my skin break out like most others. It is long lasting and not expensive at all. So over all I would recommend it to people:)

Will not repurchase

This product has a really weird texture that I couldn't imagine putting on my face! I felt the pigmentation was bad as well! The only good thing about this product is the jar. I de-potted it and used it for my NYX jumbo pencil.. SCORE

Natural looking

I don't love this product but I like it. Its very creamy and when I apply it I use my fingers. It gives a very natural come to your cheeks and makes them glow. It doesn't really last long though that's the only down.

It's alright

This is a good product for night uses and special occasions but this particular color isn't good for daily use; as for the product itself, it's good but I am not a fan that it doesn't stay on too long after you put it on. I love the color and I'm a sucker for cute packages but I would invest in high-end brands if it's going to be blush.

Different..

I had never tried I cream blush before or a cheek stain, but I found this very interesting. Because it is a very thin texture, it is easy for it to sink into your pores so I would recommend a face primer. Apply a primer that will help minimize your pores, apply you foundation and then apply this whipped blush. It is especially nice if you apply a baked blush or a mineralized skin finish by MAC over top.
