love it

i really liked this foundation. I have oily skin and it worked for me. beautiful and excellent coverage (: with it you can chose to do a full coverage or a light coverage. one of the best foundations I've ever used.

i wanted to love it but coudnt:( doesnt even have a matte finish and it slides right off if you have combo skin. medium coverage as well. just not for me. on others it may do wonders. i was dissappointed- i was recommend to use this with their primer. and neither worked.

GREAT FOR ALL SKIN TYPES

At first, I was a little skeptical about trying this foundation because I was worried that the matte finish would emphasize the dry patches of skin on my face. However, after experimenting with it for a while, I absolutely fell in love with the foundation. I mix it with Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel, and I get a more moisturizing and smooth feel when I apply the product. I love how flawless my skin looks when the foundation is on and how lightweight it feels!

Love It!

This foundation gave my perfect coverage and didn't feel or look cakey on my face. I have normal normal/ combination skin. It just depends in a day to day basis but I could wear this foundation anytime. I highly recommend this foundation to anyone looking for a flawless finish but doesn't want to feel smothered by make-up.

Best for Dry-Normal Skin & Special Occasions; Not a Foundation for Everyday Wear

This foundation is really expensive for what it does, but it gets rave reviews for its coverage and how well it photographs, and it's oil-free, so I was excited to try this out. I first tried it in 117, which was a tad too light for my skin. 120 turned out to be a much better match.

However, perhaps it's because I have combo-oily skin or that I use a moisturizer prior to applying this foundation, but this wasn't full coverage for me. It was more like medium coverage instead; this evened out my skintone and covered my dark circles well, but my freckles still show through. Its staying power was pretty good, at 7 hours, but I did have to blot once about halfway through its wear time. Note that I wore this during the winter, when my skin is drier and liquid foundations have better staying power; I imagine that during the warmer months, its wear time might be shorter by 2 hours with oilier skin and I might end up blotting more often as well.

This is probably a great foundation for those with combo-dry to normal skin, and definitely more of a foundation for special occasions (photoshoots, weddings, public events, formals, to name a few) than for everyday wear. As for those with oilier skin, this might fall short of expectations as far as coverage and finish goes, and with a $42 price tag, I'll be on the hunt for fairer, more reasonable options.

Love it!

I love this foundation!! It gives you a light to medium coverage. I recommend using the make up forever translucent powder with this foundation. It doesn't give me a cakey face at all. I only use one pump of foundation for my skin and it covers any light flaws on my skin. It easily blends on my skin and gives it a nice natural finish.

Amazing!

At first, I was scared to buy this foundation. I'm used to spending $9-13 on Revlon Colorstay, so I was a bit reluctant on spending $40 on a foundation. However, I recently went to ISSE (International Salon and Spa Expo) and there was a booth for a beauty supply that had MUFE products. If you've never been to a beauty expo (ISSE, IMATS, NailPro shows, etc), you need to just for the discounted prices! I got this foundation for $24!!!!!!! I HAD to have it. I had a feeling that 120 was going to be it, I made sure that the MUA working matched my skintone, just in case. I absolutely LOVE this foundation. It blends beautifully and doesn't feel heavy. The coverage is medium-full, with more emphasis on medium, but it's buildable and that's what I like.

Like the HD Primer, I do not like this product. It contains fragrance which caused me to have a horrible break out within a matter of hours. My skin was breaking out in spots that have never broken out before. In addition to that fact, I do not feel that the coverage is what you pay for. It advertises that its the first print ad to not airbrush its models who wear the foundation but in order for me to have "full coverage" I had to use 4-5 pumps! For the price, I do not feel it was worth it. It hardly even covered my scars. Cannot recommend this foundation, which is unfortunate because I love Makeup Forever!

It was one of the best foundations I used. Loved it. Its just the best, seriously. It gives u amazing coverage, perfect color, absolutely not visible on face. The best foundation ever. But I dont use it often cuz its prof brand and MUFE especially, so i was trying to find something similar for every day use ( i guess i could compare it to Chanel Aqua and Guerlain Lingerie de peau)

My new favourite foundation!

My holy grail foundation is most definitely Laura Mercier Silk Creme foundation, and I'm pretty sure I rave about it every chance I get, and everytime I review a new foundation, HOWEVER! I am so in love with MUFE HD Invisible Cover Foundation! It has a lighter feel than Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation, has incredible coverage, fantastic lasting power, and is so easy to blend when using my Sephora Collection #44 Pro Stippling Brush. It is also very moisturising and I find that my skin doesn't get flaky in certain spots if I over-do my foundation routine, which is great! I can't decide if this is better or just as good as Laura Mercier, but I can't live without it now! It is definitely worth the price ♡
