What Foundation?

I love this stuff! Literally looks like I am not wearing any foundation on my face. It is light weight and most importantly it doesn't cling to any dry spots and it doesn't make my face oily! Great for combo skin in my opinion :)

Love/hate

For my personal opinion with my skin, it looks a little cakey/: I have oily to combination skin, & I don't know why, but this foundation makes my skin look very oily in just a short period of time. I have to keep blotting my face, & touch up quite a bit.

The Best

I heard this was a great foundation, now I'm a total believer. I use the concealer and pressed powder. Always leaves me with a flawless finish. Also great for pictures! My first try was for a wedding when I was a bridesmaid and the pictures were great! No shine.

Beautiful finish, photographs exceptionally but you need to know how to handle it. Not super hyrdrating, be careful on dry skin.

So, I finally got matched at Sephora after realizing I always wore the wrong shades of my fave foundation, Revlon's Nearly Naked foundation. I looved the luminous, hydrating finish and how it never looked cakey, no matter how much I applied. But I realized that although I had the first three shades, none of them matched! I don't know why I picked this one, but my other wishlist foundation was the NARS Sheer Glow, but I think my Sephora was out :( I love that this is a light foundation with yellow/neutral undertones. I've come to realize (after a little blog snooping and trial and error) that you need ONLY 1 PUMP. This is extremely concentrated and pigmented, and it works best for me with a sponge to gently disburse the pigment around the face, slowly blending it into your natural skin tone. I noticed with only 1 pump, my face already looked "done". How could it only take a few dabs and look done? Well, this foundation blends in with my skin tone whilst letting some of your skin show through. It doesn't make your face look like a mask with only 1 tone/shade. The areas of your face that are lighter and darker still show through, it just evens everything out. It almost looks like you're not wearing any, especially in photographs. And this is really an HD foundation. It looks superb in photographs. My face looks so natural and fresh. But there are a few minor issues. You cannot overdo this, especially if you have dry skin!! I made the mistake of using two pumps and using a buffing brush because I felt I wanted more uniform coverage, but someone actually commented on how cakey it looked, especially around my problem area of around the nostrils. Because there is so much pigment suspended in a small pump of liquid you don't need to use that much. I find this foundation to not be very hydrating, and although I've used a bunch of different primers it clings to dry patches and accentuates them, AKA forehead and nose. So, I try to add very little in those areas. I sort of crave a more dewey, hydrating finish, instead of having to gingerly apply very small amounts, avoiding problem areas. I've since read that this foundation is hard to work with on dry skins because its not very wet or hydrating. It is really lightweight though, especially since you need so little. So, I think I would like the Sheer Glow or something like Armani's Luminous Silk even better because of the extra hydration on my dry areas and the built in highlight. I do think this is a fantastic foundation, but its harder to work with if you're really dry.

Brilliant!

Best foundation I've ever had! It gives good coverage for redness and acne, and doesn't look cakey. I have combination skin, it doesn't make my skin break out like all the other foundations did, and it's super light as well. It matches my skin flawlessly, definitely worth the price.

Great med. coverage foundation.

I love this foundation, completely worth the price tag. I have so many foundations that I'll buy, and they make my skin breakout, still look oily, slide off, or, because their quality isn't as good, will make my pores look enlarged and clogged. My skin has a lot of red undertones, but with a color-correcting primer and a bit of concealer over any blemishes, this foundation makes my skin look like porcelain. And it perfectly matches my skin tone, something I've had difficulty with in the past.

Favorite Foundation

I have normal-to-combination skin. I use this foundation everyday, it's my HG. I got a sample of this along with the Kat Von D Lock It and the Urban Decay Naked foundation, and I ended up buying the full size of the MUFE. I have since purchased another bottle. That's a big deal for me, and says a lot about a foundation, because I'm a foundation junkie and always looking for new ones to try. I'm pretty sure I've never repurchased a foundation before, I tend to pick out new ones instead - but regardless of the $42 price tag, I have bought a second bottle of this.

I like how many different shades there are. I always have the hardest time picking one because i have fair skin but with very warm yellow undertones. I have the Marble shade and its beaooootiful. Its a perfect match for my skin tone. Its by far the easiest to blend with and it stays on all day. However, its very very matte to a point where it looks fake. I always need to add shimmer or ssomethingg or else I look like a mannequin :P but overall I really do love this stuff. I would definitely buy it again if It wasn't so expensive haha.

Great Overall Foundation

I've tried a whole array of foundations from Chanel to L'Oreal and I'd have to say that the MUFE HD is my favorite. It provides the perfect amount of coverage, while still allowing you to go either sheerer or thicker in the application. It blends well and has a lovely texture and consistency. I can tell that this is going be my go-to foundation for a very long time.

This is an amazing Foundation, I have heard so many positive things about this foundation, although it isnt for everyone, I like HD foundations, full coverage ones too, I got this at IMATS toronto this year , and it was a good price $31 (no tax) which beats the normal price, It seemed to be hard to colour match and the reps at IMATS werent really helpful, I asked a few of them for there opinion on color matching but I got a different shade from each, so I tested a few on my hand and went with the best matching one, I think i did pretty good for not having any professional help from them. I have nothing against them, I understand they were busy, just wish they were a bit more helpful.
