Love it !

This shadow is one the best blacks I own , it's great for lining your eyes , I really recommended ! You can built up as much as you want and it's very blend-able. If you ever need a new black shadow check this one out .

true to its name

can be used beautifully with typographic semi easy to blend nice for cat eye look or liner. stays in place little to no fall out and extremely matte.I find it easier to use when being pressed onto the lid also no need to dig brush in shadow pot.lightly dab.

I use this eyeshadow to outline my eyes as eyeliner looks too hard on me for an everyday look. I personally love it and it is very long lasting. I wake up at 6 and do my makeup every morning and it last all day until I get home at about 5. The actual pot of eyeshadow also lasts for a very long time.

Although, I would not recommend it to use on the whole eyelid as it is quite blotchy and for it to look even you have to apply a little at a time on a little are of the eyelid and build it up which can actually take about an hour for me in order to make it perfect.

Overall though I think this is a great product and I will be buying more when mine runs out.

Simpley Wonderful

I have found that this eyeshaddow is the most wonderful black matte shade I have ever tried. It pigment is great. Its a great quality. I use it by itself and to darken other colors. Best shaddow you could have for layering a smoking eye or doing a scene look. I also press this over my eyeliners so this is. I always have to wear black liner I am kinda obsested with it. So this is an everyday product for me and I am very pleased with it

Not all they're hyped up to be...

I have three of these - Carbon, Omega and Sketch.

I HATE Carbon. You'd think it would be a really intense black but it is barely pigmented and you need to build it up A LOT to get a strong black. It comes out very faint. I have a £1 MUA black eyeshadow that has richer pigmentation than Carbon.

Sketch comes out beautifully - it's so smooth, pigmented and a dream to blend. Omega is also great to blend and the taupe colour is great - it's so multi-purpose. I sometimes use it for contour as well as for the crease of my eye when I'm having a "quiet makeup" day!

fantastic!

I have this eyeshadow in Carbon, Brule and Beautiful Iris. I love layering the Carbon and Brule together. I use Brule as a nude base and then use an angled brush for Carbon and I use it as an eyeliner. I use it so often that I've gotten really good at cat eyes. Beautiful Iris is a REALLY nice and soft lavender shade that's nice for dates or when you want a soft eye. It lasts all night and it not heavy at all. Fantastic eyeshadow.

Excellent product

I have the Carbon black from the Disney's Villian collection, it has a illustration of Cruella Deville on it. It's so cute. So I've had this shadow for a long time and I have no hit pan yet. This eyeshadow has great pigment, it a dark matte black which you can darken the colour by layering it. I find that if you use an eye primer on your eyelid MAC eyeshadows have a very long staying power. Sometimes I will also use Carbon with an angled brush as an eyeliner, if I want my eyeliner to be more natural looking. MAC shadows also have a great range of colours and formulations. I'm sure that whatever colour you are looking for you can find at your local MAC counter.

I have been using Carbon for almost four years, has always been my number one choice for a matte black. It blends amazing for basically every look I do, I will always have it in stock!

The best

This is the best black, I use it all the time for night looks, it doesn't cause fallout to go all over your face which is really nice. Great pigmentation.
