Goes on smooth, dark, opaque. Stays on, no dissolving, flaking, chipping, anything. Great packaging, won't dry out. My only complaint with this eyeliner is the felt tip. While it's not fussy and is probably perfect for people new to liquid liner, it's not as precise as a brush tip. I'll line my eye with this, then use an e.l.f. liner with a brush to give my winged-out liner a sharper tip. I'd guess 95% of people wouldn't notice or care but I am a perfectionist ahaha
surprisingly better than "dupes"
I was hesitant to buy this, as I always swore up and down by the Loreal Lineur Intense felt tip eyeliner, which is a fraction of the price. Not only that but they look suspiciously similar in packaging. The applicators are identical, but the Artliner formula applies much more smoothly, making it a whole lot easier to get those super thin lines! I love this and I'm never going back to that drug store bogus. :]
Such a pity!
I tried this eyeliner at a beauty store(Marionnaud) some time ago...At first I was very excited because I know Lancome make such great make-up products, but the Art Liner disappointed me. I have to admit that the formula is great, just as I expected from a Lancome eyeliner: thick texture, pitch black and smear-proof. The biggest disappointment is the brush, in comparison with the ridiculously small bottle. I hate felt tip/foam tip brushes, they just don't work well on me and I always end up creating other than the eyeliner shape I wanted. The brush ruins my good impression on the Lancome Art Liners... I'm kind of jealous on the users of this eyeliner and they are very pleased about it.
