This liquid foundation brush also works well with cream products. The round brush shape is perfectly dense for fast coverage and blending.
The smoothness of the mountain goat's hair is as soft as its blue squirrel's and its perfect firmness is what characterizes "Saikouhou" material. In order to further enhance the material's qualities, the brushes are not dyed and preserve the mountain goat's original white color.

SO i was super excited to get this brush since it's newly added, and I've never tried this brand before. People raved about it too. When I tried it today, it left streaks and foundation just didn't stay on my face well. However, if someone wants a bronzer brush, you should definitely get this one. it applies bronzer beautifully and seamlessly. I have too many bronzer brushes and will not keep this one for just that purpose.
I love this brush. It is incredibly dense and soft. Many goat hair brushes have some roughness, but this one is perfectly soft. Dot on foundation and working from the inside to the outside stipple and brush. It really doesn't take much work at all to distribute foundation perfectly. There is no reason to overwork it. It doesn't absorb too much product either. I've washed mine several times and it looks as new as the day I got it. I adore the matte black ferrel and handle. It has a luxury feel to it that makes it a total pleasure to use. This is my new favorite foundation brush. I own a few of the Takumi series and will be getting more. They are just gorgeous and make makeup application a real treat.
I first got this brush cause I wanted a softer Koyudo Fu-pa 02 which I like but is too rough on my skin. As expected it's the same size, soft, but less dense than Fu-pa 02. The hair shape also isn't as dense at the top, so it's better used with short strokes than buffing motion. The lower density means it tends to leave some streak marks for liquidy texture foundation. I'd still use it for foundation when my skin gets sensitive, I just go over at the end with a sponge. Powder also fixes all the streaks. It's an excellent brush for cream bronzer and blush though - fits right into the cheekbones and doesn't over-blend my cream bronzer everywhere.
