Eye Cheat is a beige tone for creating the illusion of wider, fuller, and more awake eyes.
Inspired by one of Charlotte's all-time favorite looks, this revolutionary eye pencil creates the perfect "bedroom eye" with the silky-smooth glide of a liquid liner and the soft, sooty, pigment-rich payoff of kohl. Channel your inner rock 'n' roll muse with sexy, smudgy, smoked-out eyes that stay put from dusk 'til dawn.
Apply Rock 'N' Kohl in Eye Cheat along the waterline of the lower and upper lashes to make eyes appear brighter and more wide-awake.
I lvd these eyeliners!! they don't bleed into cracks or lines on your eyes, they stay put, and of course like all of her products they're water proof. These eyeliners stay on all day until i wash it off at night. i have absolutely no complaints here. ALL of her products are amazing and worth the price. Heres some swatches Top to Bottom: Eye Cheat for bigger eyes Bedroom Black Barbella Brown Marlene Midnight Elizabeth Violet Verushka Mink
As a MUA, I have every brand, formula, and type of eye pencil there is. But this one....goes on like butter, super intense color, smudges beautifully, and seriously lasts all day. I used it on the upper water line (which always ends up on the bottom water line), but not this one! Stayed only where I applied it and lasted 12 hours!
I'm always nervous to try a new eyeliner because some can be runny and my eyes can be sensitive. Plus, it's hard to find one that actually stays on my waterline all day. But let me tell you, Charlotte's Rock 'N' Kohl Pencil in Eye Cheat is a game changer. It's nothing like I've used before. It stayed in place from the time I put it on in the morning until I took it off. I was shocked, especially since it's a light nude! The texture is super creamy and didn't irritate my eyes at all. A must-have!!
I was fortunate to receive this in my Lucky Bag (2015). Not only is the color beautiful and the application smooth as silk, but it does not budge. The first day I got it, I immediately swatched it on my arm. Lovely color, smooth & creamy, great pigmentation...but so are many other pencil liners. I would not have felt compelled to order yet another eyeliner because I already have so many others piled in cups. BUT, not only did it stay put and maintain its full color on my arm the rest of the day & night...it survived a shower the next morning! I wore it today (on my eyes where it belongs, lol) and it, once again, did not budge - even with my oily eyelids. I don't know what magical ingredient they add to these liners to make them last so long, but I'm pretty sure I need every color now.
As soon as I saw the color of the pencil, a perfect purple slate haze, I knew I had to have it. For a green-eyed girl who loves taupe shadows, it is a dream. The color is deep and yet subdued, a very natural lashline bolster. Generally I dislike eyeliner pencils, and they way they apply unevenly and need to be smudged out. This one really does have a "silky glide" feel and look. The line was clean and smooth with no hassle. Also, the "Rock N Kohl" name is genius. Resistance is futile.
I initially bought this pencil in black, and liked it so much that I went back for the Verushka Mink, Barbarella Brown, and Elizabeth Violet. I tested the violet out and it stayed all day with minimal movement over the course of a 90+ degree day and some humidity. That's pretty darn impressive for a Kohl pencil, if you ask me. With that said, I did use a tiny bit of powder in the area around the eyes, which may help minimize the pencil smudging/sliding.
I have 4 of these now and they have to be my favorite liners! I have very oily and hooded lids (if I do not wear primer, it does not matter what it is it slips into the crease). These very nearly stay put without primer (I tested them).
They glide on really easily and set, giving you a short period of time to blend it out. The pigmentation is strong, too.
Even better is that I don't have to use a dedicated makeup remover to remove it.
Will never leave the house without swiping Eye Cheat on my lower lash line. Instant and subtle pick-me-up. So worth it and the pencil will likely last a long time. Buy it!!
My take on CT's Rock 'N' Kohl Marlene Midnight
Pros: Liner stays on all day. Strong lasting power Do not smudge or fall out whether drawn on eye lid or waterline Very smooth application and glides on easily Color is very intense, making the eyes pop instantly
Cons: Have to sharpen product for every use. Liner last not more than 2 months if use everyday Price is on the expensive end for daily users
Overall, I love this liner ALOT and will be making another purchase soon in the color Veruschka Mink. Highly recommend to user who loves dramatic eyeliner effect
I'm a mature woman in my fifties, and because I now have fine lines around my eyes, as well as looser eyelid skin, it's been a huge, exasperating undertaking searching for an eyeliner pencil with a formulation for those of us who can no longer achieve the perfectly smooth line, nor should we even think the thick black cat eyes are flattering on mature skin! Eyeliner pencils, for the most part, can be exceptionally dry, causing the 'skin tugging' effect while lining the upper lid. I've also encountered a few that are too moist, which can leave too much product on the lid when trying to draw a straight, precise line. Now, the problem is SOLVED, thanks to CT and her new line of cream pencil eyeliners!! The formulation is the perfect blend of not too hard, not too soft, and they glide on like a dream. They're also the most perfect eyeliner pencil for tightlining, which I've become obsessed with! I rarely write reviews, much less lengthy ones, but Miss Charlotte's new eyeliner pencils are well-deserving of praise, because I just don't think they can get any better than these!!! I give them an A+++++. My favorites colors are the Barbella Brown and the Rock 'n Kohl Veruschka Mink.
