Magic Foundation

I SO WANTED to love this- so much so that I tucked it away to see if it would 'work' at a future time. Unfortunately, despite various methods of application, it STILL looked ORANGE-Y...not neutral tan(as the name of the color implies). It is not very creamy and dries fast too, making blending difficult. ---on a positive note; IF it were not orange-y and was a good color, I'd of liked it/ its other qualities.----sigh....;[...MAYBE I will try to mix it with something to make this color better but that is beyond my level of expertise...so..??

I have to first mention that It was the first foudation I ordered online without trying it on. I'm an NC42, color 8 matches me perfectly. I was in doubt at first if it was going to be too thick for my skin as I usually use sheer to medium coverage foudation (my skin doesn't need full coverage foundation).The texture was creamy and one of the most gorgeous I owned. I decided to apply with my fingers. It came out so natural. Little bit goes a long way. I got so much compliment with how nice and glowy my skin was. Really happy with my purchase.

This is honestly the best foundation I've come across. Flawless coverage, lightweight, it's just perfect!

I saw many reviews before taking the plunge and ordering this. I couldn't decide between shades 7 & 8, so I ordered both. 7 was a tad too light, and I didn't find the coverage to be buildable. I then tried 8 and oh wow...what a difference! It was just perfect! With the better shade match, I found the coverage very buildable. I used about 2 pumps (1 for each side) and then half a pump just to add extra coverage on certain areas. I've used it both on bare skin and over Becca & First Aid Beauty primer. I have VERY oily skin, and surprisingly enough, even without a primer, this foundation wore extremely well. No caking, flaking, clinging or excessive shine. It remains intact after a 9 hour work day until I wash it off. There is no smell to it, packaging is beautiful. I have been setting it with Ben Nye Banana and Colorless powders and it works perfectly. For reference, shade 8 is %90 perfect. Had there been a in between shades 7 & 8 shade, that would have been %100 perfect. When shade 8 feels like it might be a smidge too tan, colorless setting powder brightens it up and it's perfect. In Too Faced Born This Way I am shade Sand, Nars Sheer Matte in Barcelona, UD Naked Skin 6.0, Tarte Med/Tan and Dermablend Chestnut and Copper shades mixed.
