Cicabio Cream

I have sensitive, easily irritated skin, and this unassuming, unglamorous little tube is my lowkey skin savior..especially in the winter. I use a prescription retinoid, and when my derm adjusts my dose, my skin goes a little nuts. Flakiness, redness, extreme sensitivity; I can’t always use a good portion of my skincare wardrobe during these times, due to irritation & burning. But Cicabio is so gentle, and so easy to wear, it’s never let me down. By “easy to wear”, I mean the formula is creamy enough to soothe dry skin, but it also sinks in incredibly fast, and doesn’t leave an oil slick behind. A huge plus for me; I get mid-day flakiness, and need to spot-treat with a moisturizer while at work. This is perfect, because it does its job & disappears. At night, I use a heavier hand, and apply it evenly over my face. It can be used alone, but I do like to seal it in with a facial oil on winter nights. It’s just a great, simple product; not as sexy & exciting as some moisturizers, but it’s inexpensive, versatile, and elegantly formulated. Also: I bought the smaller-sized tube MONTHS ago, and even with near-daily use, it’s still not empty. For $11, this is a skincare STEAL.

This comes in handy on many occasions. From using a glycolic pad that was to strong on my neck ( red, scaling, flaking) to rashes and accidental curling iron burns. I reach for this and the next couple of days using it 2 times a day gives me healing and comfort. I get itchy legs and it also helped with that. It’s a serum, light weight creamy consistency. Not heavy or rich. But I love combining and making a cocktail with Atoderm Creme for extra glow. Even after a mani or pedi my skin glows with this little secret potion!

This product cleared my sensitive, dry inflamed skin after the first use. I will use this after microdermabrasion and detox masks from now on. Glad I purchased this.

I have rosacea & multiple allergies - so my face breaks out frequently & I get itchy, hive-like bumps on my neck, under my chin & especially the backs of my arms. I have used cortisone cream in the past but I was looking for something without the steroids that cortisone contains. I have used this product on a rash on my stomach & it seemed to soothe & clear it up by the next day. It will take more use to know for sure but as of now this product seems like a winner!

After an allergic reaction to a new lotion left my skin irritated and red, I reached for this to soothe and repair. The result was better than I imagined! Irritation was immediately lessened, and redness was almost entirely gone in a matter of hours. After a few days of consistent use, my skin was completely back to normal. I recommend it for anyone dealing with allergies, eczema or similar skin conditions.

I got this product after exfoliating gel and Sebium cleaning gel made my skin irritated. It did work to remove the redness but it caused more break out. So this combination didn't prove effective. I have sensitive skin and sometimes breakout. I don't have oily skin, just the opposite, but probabaly due to the altitude and extreme temperatures.
