Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed

There is a reason why Opal is sold out all the time and why makeup junkies crash websites when a new Becca highlight is released. Somehow Becca has managed to create highlights with the highest pigment and still manages to keep them buttery soft, blendable and finely milled. Becca highlights are not the "lit from within" highlight. They are the "hey girl you are lit up like a Christmas tree and I can take my eyes off of you" highlight. And I'm not mad at that! The shade range makes sure that from fair to deep you can get your highlight on. No skin tone is left behind with a Becca highlight. For my light up those cheek bones sisters out there get the Goss 02 brush to apply the product with! You will love how that brush fits perfectly in the high planes of the face and evenly distributes the powder. And for my fellow "lit from within, I like a more subtle highlight" pick up the Goss 15 fan brush! The fan brush with opal is my go to highlight for my Cover FX P40 skin tone. The fan brush will feather out and disperse all that pigment so you can glow and still go to the office! The attached photo shows Moonstone, Opal and Champagne Pop (L to R). I think that Opal is the most universal shade and that Moonstone is the one that creates the most glow and high impact.

As a long time collector and fan of Becca skin perfectors, I of course ordered this as soon as it was available and had it the next day (thank you for being based in the Bay Area Beautylish). It's the same gorgeous, high pigment and blendable formula as all of Becca's other highlighters, but if you own Pink Quarts, Lilac Geode or Vanilla Quartz, you do not need this highlighter for anything other than personal collection value. Heavily swatched, there IS a discernible color difference, but worn on the face, they're all pinky gold.

Like all the Becca highlighters the pigmentation is insane & the texture is super smooth. Most highlighters have a yellow/gold undertone that isn't very flattering on my extra white cool tone skin (my skin is very translucent - alot of blue and pink pigmentation). This is the first highlighter I've found that is truly white without being silver. I love it!

I loved this the second I saw it on IG. I even set an alarm and woke up specifically for the launch and had order confirmation 20 minutes later LOL That's how BAD I wanted this! I wondered if it would look like a version of Nars Orgasm or be more of a blush topper.. Turns out neither. After months of waiting I finally got to wear it and was shocked that it turned my face into gold tin foil *insert crying here* I am fair with a cool pink undertone and being such pull the pink out of anything. Not this. There was nothing pink about it. It is yellow gold and looks like a super shiny bruise on the side of my face when any amount of warm or yellow light catches it.. I am SOOOO SAD.. I don't want to return it bc I love the packaging and the idea behind it, I just can't wear it *insert more crying* if you are darker or have an olive complexion this would probably be great.. 3 stars for the idea, packaging and formula..

I've tried liquid highlights, cream highlights, powders highlights, etc, and so far nothing holds a candle to my pressed Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector. The pigmentation is amazing, and they blend super easily. My favorite shade is "Moonstone", no matter how many I try I go right back to this!

It’s a gorgeous highlighter and I do love it but I was very put off by it having less product, initially I was like “that’s fine, a little less product but great looking image and package” but then when I received it it felt... very cheap. Becca’s other highlighters have more weight to them and don’t feel as plastic oriented as this one does. I honestly fear taking it anywhere because it could get smashed or even a small fall might crack it. All in all I’m not disappointed in the product itself, just the packaging for safety reasons.

The color itself is more of a light champagne and subtle, but buildable for a nice glow that looks smooth. Those that want a strong highlight may not like this one.

The texture is soft and finely milled, not chunky in any way, and flattering on my skin.

The photo I included was taken in sunlight and there’s a small swatch on the left lower side of my hand.

I got this highlighter in pearl because I have super fair skin. I was using Mary-Loumanizer prior to this and found it didn't have enough pigmentation. This lasts all day and is super shiny, I love it!

This rose gold highlighter from Becca is gorgeous as either an intense highlighter or as a lovely topper for blush! As a blush topper the rose gold shade brings life and warmth to the cheeks and the highlighting effects give a healthy glow! It's definitely more intense then other highlighters so a light hand is a must (for me at least)

I am a highlighter addict! I have so many in my collection including many Becca highlighters......but Berlin Girl Glow absolutely took my breath away when I saw it in pan and swatched it. I knew I had a winner. This highlighter has different tones to it, different levels, but it is a wearable color and unlike anything I have. If you love highlighters, you need this one in your life! I’m so glad I got it. Also kudos to Beautylish for their usual awesome fast order processing and shipping. Not only was the box well protected but the actual compact was wrapped in tissue paper within Becca’s box. You amaze me with every order I place! ❤️
