I just read your comment on waxing vs. threading.
Nail salons don't have the license to wax, but they get away with it anyway. Usually they are caught "double dipping" the pop sickle stick they use, so what goes on your faces is other people's face germs! GROSS!!!
If you wanna try it again I suggest a real hair salon.
