Beauty Product Reviews

This oil is perfect for my combo skin during the colder months. I tend not to use facial oils during the summer. It soaks into my skin beautifully. Leaves my skin very soft and doesn’t break me out. The INCI list is thoughtfully curated. I am so happy to add this to my night skincare routine

I will preface this one star rating by saying I love the brand Jouer. The highlighters are awesome. But this foundation - out of all the foundations I own - is the number one WORST foundation I have ever used. It emphasized pores around my nose and cheeks terribly. I’ve tried different primers. I’ve tried different application techniques. I’ve tried differing amounts of foundation. I always end up looking like the main character of Mommie Dearest right before she says “No more wire hangers”. The foundation also oxidizes and separates through the day. Sadly, this is a total fail of a product for me.

So pretty on my lips

I am very picky when it comes to liquid lipsticks. I stick with shades that make my lips look better. I have dark pigmented lips so I can never wear nudes. And even though I love wearing bright colors, I tend to not wear them as often. I am pleasantly surprised that I'm Shook is not too bright and is be work appropriate. On me it wears like a muted coral pink. It can be buildable for a brighter look. The one thing that JS liquid lipsticks have over a lot of other brands is that it takes one swipe for full opacity on the lips. Another great JS liquid lipstick to add to my collection

Best way to store single shadows

I have seen a lot of magnetic palettes, BUT, the ZPalette is my top and only choice to store my single eyeshadow pots. I love the fact that I can see the shadows. I own a half dozen of these. Since I am a makeup addict, I prefer the XL palette. Very sturdy and perfect to pack for travel

I am 40+ gal who is makeup obsessed. There are a lot of highlighters I stay way from because either they are to glittery or too "glazed" for me. These highlighters don't make me look like a disco ball. I achieve that slight "dewy" look perfectly with these. Of course, Citrine is so perfect. But - I also enjoy Topaz (I'm Filipino - so I have medium toned skin)

Beautiful...but is it the best?!?!?

I bought both the matte black and the black gold rush. To be honest, I bought these to complete my Natasha Denona eyeshadow collection. First my thought on the matte black: The texture is very unique as far as a matte eyeshadow goes. Somewhat creamy. Swatching it on my arm I had to swatch a few times to get a full solid color payoff. On the eyes - it swatches beautifully and is long lasting. Blends like a dream as do all of her shadows do. I am interested to see how this shadow goes on wet for an eyeliner look. The color as a shadow is not the blackest of shadows that I own in my makeup collection. I have not played much with the black gold shadow. It has a slight grit to it when swatched but the color pay off is stunning! I enjoy the subtle gold glitter and I appreciate that the glitter is not too chunky but rather subdued. The OCD side of me is quite content that my Natasha Denona eyeshadow collection is complete

My eyeshadow palettes are now complete!

I loved both the 28 pan palettes so when I heard that the 10 palettes were all different colors from the 28 versions, I had to buy it. And I'm glad I did. They are just as buttery and highly pigmented as the other palettes. And these eyeshadows blend like a dream and stay on my eyelids all day without shifting (and I have hooded eyes). Natasha Denona eyeshadows are most treasured and coveted eyeshadows that I own to date.

Glow Glow Glow

Jeffree Star's Peach Goddess is the perfect peachy, rose gold highlight that I was looking for. I can tone it down for a subtle glow or amp the glow by wetting my brush. So happy that I bought it. and the great thing is I'll never run out of it because the pan is HUGE!!!! And it has a great mirror too. Can't say enough good things about this highlighter

My palette hunt has come to an end!

Both of the ND 28 pan palettes are now both mine. I bought these approximately a month ago and have been wearing these shadows nonstop since. The pigmentation and wear-time of these shadows are outstanding. They blend like a dream. Goes perfectly with my other matte palette from another company. Negatives? Only a couple. Pricey? Yes - but these shadows will last a long time. There are no highlight or transitional matte shades in these palettes which makes me go grab other eyeshadows to complete a look. Hopefully Natasha will come out with a matte palette or nude palette.

Perfect!

I bought this so that I can fit my Makeupgeek foiled and duochrome eyeshadow pans. They literally all fit with two spots in the palette to spare! I also bought the smaller palette so that I can fit all my transition and brow brown shades. Between these and my Natadha Denona palettes- my travel eyeshafows are complet
