Beautiful colour and surprisingly long wearing

I don't own any ESSIE polishes and can't remember using the brand with a mani/pedi at the salon, either. So, this was a random pick. I was specifically looking for a reddish or purple dark. I was actually looking for Lincoln Park After Dark by OPI but couldn't find it and I settled on this one.

GORGEOUS !

I don't wear red on my nails and prefer the dark/short nail look so I choose nearly black colours. This is soooooo lovely. No glitter, just a deep blood red. Not flashy but really eye catching.

Gorgeous luminousity but makes me too oily/shiny

I've not used a tinted moisturizer before. I can't do foundation b/c i hate the way it feels on my face. I also don't need that much coverage. My routine has typically consisted of a pigmented powder that conceals and evens. I am a bit torn on this product b/c on one hand I love how easy it blends and the luminosity is just... Wow. I glow with even just the tiniest bit. Coverage is also perfect for me. My issue is the shine... It ends up looking really oily within a couple of hours. I'm blotting a lot. I've experimented with skipping my normal moisturizer and powdering with translucent powder to set. Its still hit or miss. Perhaps it will work better in winter??

awesome

i never did my brows before but after buying this pencil, I'm addicted to filling them in and giving them definition. I am a true believer that great brows make a face and this really contributes to that perfect frame. My brows are over tweezed (!!!) and thinning due to age. Tis a shame considering my youthful brow was *very* full and I tweezed them into oblivion :( This is very natural and super easy to use. I understand that other makeup brands have similar pencils, so this may very well be easily achieved with a less expensive product. Just happened to get a MUA with a passion for Dior when I visited Sephora, so I walked out with a bagful of Dior.

liking this a lot

I bought the Telephoto trio. I don't have many eyeshadows and I really wanted to play with a smokey navy / pinkish look. I am pretty clueless when it comes to what pairs with what, so I went looking for a trio or quad and picked this one up. I'm a professional, so I can't pack it on in the daytime. These colours are buildable and I was able to sheer it out to my liking. I can see where it will also be great for evening. I have a Dior smoky trio that is a.ma.zing ! This isn't as pigmented, I don't think, but it is certainly a bit more affordable and looks very nice.

great for application and buffing in of liquid makeup

I had my eye on the Real Techniques brush that everyone's raving about, but I couldn't get it here in Canada. This one, however, seemed like a good alternative.

I used it for the first time this morning with my Dior tinted moisturizer and it is such a huge improvement over using my fingers to work it in ! Also, I usually shine a lot.. but I managed to keep a fairly matte face today thanks to a good, worked in, application of the tinted moisturizer.

I've never owned a foundation brush b/c I don't normally wear foundation. I suppose that others with more experience than I could provide a better comparison to a typical brush.

highly pigmented, buildable, applies like a dream...

I've used MAC shadows for over a decade and only recently branched out to other brands. I don't know if Dior shadows are usually this incredible... but, this one is outstanding ! Gorgeous colours.

I've swatched the others and am not as impressed with the pigmentation aside from the blacks or navy.

Fall out is very minimal.

Great lip product for people who don't like lipstick

I look great in lipstick but don't have the patience to re-apply it throughout the day ,so I usually go without. Not a lip gloss person either.

These, however, are perfect for me. I am late to the game in terms of buying these, but sooooo glad I did.

The formulation is lovely. Smooth, hydrating, and the look is beautiful with only a few swipes. I think the pigmentation is very good and I notice a slight stain after wearing so your lips don't look naked once it wears off a bit. I like that.

I bought Creme Brulee after reading the rave reviews and it is not a good match for me. My lips are naturally a bit pink and the opaque nude pretty much erases them :( This might be a good look if I did a super dark eye for eve, but for daytime makeup it doesn't work for me.

Cherry Tart was also a bust for me. I used to wear reds about 20 yrs ago and wanted an easy wearing one. Waaaaay too bright and orange for me. Its a gorgeous colour and goes on super easily. But the colour was off for me.

Pink Truffle and Red Velvet, however are perfect ! I know people have raved about Peach Parfait, but again that was a bit too orangey for me. I need warmer colours, so the Pink Truffle works great for me. Red Velvet is everything the beauty vloggers said it was - wearable ! Looks amazing and goes on like a dream just like the others. A few swipes and you have a perfect gorgeous lip !!!
