Beauty Product Reviews

Hop in, believe the hype :)

I knew this is popular among bloggers but I was hesitant at first because I really didn't want something annoyingly water resistant. Amazingly, even if it is a long lasting eyeliner, it is easily washed with water and soap (as the label suggests). Opacity: 8/10 Precision: 10/10 Long wearing: 9/10 (I have a combi skin and I'm from a humid country - yet it stays quite long. Thumbs up for that!) Packaging: 6/10 (Looks a bit tacky) Quick drying: 9/10 (I'm not sure if it is a good thing but drying this product is lightning fast. Minus one point because it is too quick, I can't correct a little smudge. Haha.)

Really amazing product

I've been hearing a lot of good reviews about this product but I was hesitant at first because it is seen as an all around product - moisturizer, primer, make up remover. I mean with that it gives you the impression that the product is a joke. Haha! But it's not! Got mine in France. Finally tried it because the item is literally everywhere and it is like begging me to finally give it a try. And indeed the product is that amazing. Love it!

Good product minus the packaging

Liked the product - highly pigmented, application is smooth and easy, and it stays superbly looooong. However the packaging is kind of cheap and tacky. Once you take out some length of the product, you can never take it back. The cover is terribly fragile - you can have little cracks if you push it even just a little too hard onto the smudge stick. I was very very cautious and careful at first until I dropped it and got the cover cracked anyway (on both tips - boo!). This thing is quite pricey for a pencil eyeliner, hope Stila can somehow upgrade the packaging. One cannot perform a quick makeup with fragile products such as these.

I have tried a lot of lip balms - Chapstick, Nivea, Burt's Bees, Petroleum Jelly. And nothing can compare with Lucas Papaw. It is very effective for dry and chapped lips. I can't believe there is such a product that can appease the awful dryness of my lips but good thing this item is quite popular in reviews that I finally got to try it. One of the very rare items I swear by!

Even for a single drop, this product works great for me. I use it every night and it really helps to make the face look more glowing and radiant in the morning. Eyes are also less puffy as compared to those days without application. Smell is so so and during summer, I sometimes wake up with an oily nose. But no breakouts. It might look tiny for the price but it really lasts long - I'm on my 7th month now and the bottle is barely 1/4 empty.

Tried for about 3 to 5 weeks and got no visible results. I don't know if I maybe using too little amount but hey, that is what the store's facial consultant/analyst said so.

Non-greasy but I tend to get a little oily at midday. I just carry around a pack of oil blotting paper. But the best from products I've tried so far, though.

It does not moisturize in a typical sense but it also does not dry my skin out unlike most bar soaps. It is also on the pricey side for me but nevertheless good quality! And I'll never get bored on its smell too!

This was a prescribed cream from my dermatologist as I have terribly dry skin on the elbows and on the legs. On cold months, I need apply this twice a day but on the rest, once will do. I really love it and it has never failed me for the past 4 years... For the face though, I prefer not to use it because I'm a combination oily/dry so it tends to get oily if i use the product.
