Burger: Moisturizing, rich, sticky

Love this, I put it on at night before I go to bed so my lips don't dry out. It's really thick and sticky, but that's okay! It smells nice, but if it gets into my mouth it makes my throat feel a little weird. I bought " a while back, not sure if they even still make this (aw!), but it's some pretty cool stuff!

Long wear, even without top coat! Even application

A friend of my mother's had given me Piha Black, her son insisted that black was only for younger people... Anyways...

I love black, about all I wear in the winter! I'm not gonna discuss the colour too much because it's no longer made, but Piha Black is a black with fine silver glitters scattered about.

The brush is really good, I hardly get any polish on my edges with it, and two coats is all that's needed! It's best worn without a top coat, as using one tends to flatten the glitter's sparkle, but it doesn't need one! I went 10 days before I started to see a any dulling or chipping at all! It's a 10!

Cute names, fabulous staying power and application!

I bought this because the name was funny, and I'm also hooked on blue colours. It looks dark on nails, almost black, but if you look closely, it's a fine, shimmery blue. The first coat is streaky, opaque some places and almost not there in others, but don't fret. Go through all of your nails and repeat with a second coat and it covers everything up! I don't even need a third coat! Wears alright, the tips tend to have tiny chips in a few days if you don't use a top coat, but slap one on and the colour is more visible (more blue looking, less black) and it lasts for about a week!

Good coverage, but gloopy!

I got this in a Birchbox last July-ish I want to say. It's a great colour, I used it as a nude when my skin was lighter in the winter, but even the first time I used it, it was really thick. I only put two coats on, because I tried to put on three, but it had semi-dried to a tacky state that was dry-ish. The attempt on a third coat had the brush dragging through the polish and leaving streaks. I love the colour, but the formula could use a bit of work!

Easy to apply, dries fast, lasts long!

I bought Pretty Edgy as a colour to wear on my fingers for a cruise I went on the previous February, you know, as a summery look, I was in Florida and the Bahamas afterall, needed a break from my Illamasqua Phallic. Anywho, I wanted a cheap polish 'cause I didn't want to spend a lot of money on another Illamasqua or Lancome, and I had heard that Essie was a great brand! I'd been using their top-coat, Good to Go! and thought hey, why not? So the night before I boarded I used my usual OPI nail envy, three coats of Pretty Edgy, and two coats of Good to Go!.

This polish is legit. It stood up to constant sunlight, hand washing, hair washing, and 8 hours of sea water. They day I got back, it still looked how it did when I put it on a week ago! Not a chip, no fading at all, Essie may be one of my favourite cheap polishes now!!!
