Great all over cream face blending brush and blush application

I bought the Fusion Series Set.

This brush is great for a quick all over face blending for your cream products. its bigger than the mini base so it will be faster to blend out large areas of the face for cream contour and bronzer application.

It is a little big for smaller areas like around your eyes and nose. I would use the mini base, soft concealer, or jumbo concealer for that.

If you have a bigger face, maybe the jumbo base would work better for you.

I love using this brush to blend out the edges of my cream bronzer, blush, and contour. I like to dip it into my cream blushes (ie Tower28 or Fenty) and it is super effortless to blend that out onto the cheek. It really does blend it out almost immediately just on application.

I highly recommend this for soft cream blushes like Tower28 or Fenty.

Great for Harder Cream Products

I bough the Fusion Series Set.

I really love this brush for blending out concealer at the edges of my eyes underneath the "wings".

It's more dense than the Soft Concealer brush so this works well with more "harder" and thicker creams. I love this for an all over cream eyeshadow brush. it is fairly big for any precision eye work. I would love it if Sonia came out with smaller Fusion brush for the eyes!

I also love dipping this into creamier powder eyeshadow for an all over eye look. It really picks up a great deal of shadow so if you have eyeshadow that is less pigmented, it really picks up quite a bit to get that color to show faster.

Great for Concealer Application

I bought the Fusion Series Set.

This brush is great for blending out concealer under the eyes or around the eyes, nose, and mouth area. It's very soft and blends out cream or liquid concealer really quickly. Keep in mind I prefer to place the concealer on my face in small amounts and blend.

This works great dipping into softer creams or liquids but I would not dip this into a pot with a harder cream product and use it to blend. its just too soft for harder creams.

Same as the Keyaki Set - Great Precision Brush

I bought the Fusion Series Set. I also have the Keyaki Set.

This brush as become my go-to for smaller areas I want to blend my cream products in (like under my eye or around my nose between the concealer and blush.). It is small for all over face, but it can get the job done if need be, just takes longer.

I love using it to apply highlighter. It just blends things out without really trying.

If you want to cover more area faster, I would go with the Classic Base which is bigger version of the Mini Base.

Quickly Became My Favorite Brush of the Series

I normally wear skin tints which I prefer to apply with my hands so I don't use a foundation brush. I bought the Fusion Series Set and this one brush was rarely used. Until one day I just went to play with it more and I found out that I really really love this brush for so many things.

I apply foundation and then smooth it with this brush. I honestly have really started loving just brushing it on my face for the happy massage feeling I get. Silly I know, but I love it.

Also great to blend out cream contour or bronzer. Or even blush. It's really versatile and surprising has become my most favorite brush of her series now.

Best synthetic natural hair mix - extremely soft and blends out like a dream

When I bought the keyaki set, I absolutely fell in love with the mini-base. It has been one of my most used multi-taskers so I was thrilled that Sonia came out with a whole set of brushes based on that mix of synthetic and natural hair.

Keep in mind that I don't like to dip any of my brushes directly into the liquid or cream. I prefer to dot it on my face first and then go in with a brush. It gives me more control of how much product I use. It also helps keep too much product from going in deeper in the bristles.

Soft Concealer: This fits perfectly to do concealing around the nose and mouth. And under the eye. I really like this for putting on cream eyeshadow all over the lid. This is very large so if you have small eyes, this is really an all over type of thing for that.

Jumbo Concealer: This is denser than the soft concealer so I prefer to use this to blend out the edges, especially at the corner of my eyes. It works better for more stiffer cream formulas to buff them out.

Mini Base: I really like this for just an all around multi-tasker and I am happy to have two of them now. I use this for everything. I can use it for concealer, highlight, blush, blending edges etc. I fits around my nose and for the hard to reach places just fine.

Classic Base: I use this to buff in the foundation after applying. Because its bigger than the mini-base, this task gets done much faster with the classic base. It doesn't leave streaks and buffs to perfection my liquid foundations. It really helps them look even more skin like.

Jumbo Base: This is the one I use the least because I like to apply my skin tint mostly with my hands, but for the days I don't want to or use a more coverage, then this is perfect for that purpose. It helps me build up coverage in areas I want to. It isn't streaky like other brushes. I don't use a great deal of foundation and I like to dot it on my face before spreading it with this brush. Not sure if that makes a difference for anyone else.

Perfect Brush for Bronzer and Powder application - so SOFT!

This is absolutely worth it and the best fan brush out there. I use this for a perfectly diffused bronzer application and it makes applying makeup so quick and easy. The shape makes it great for powders along areas like your nose and mouth where you need that extra edge to get in there.

It is very soft on the skin. The undyed goat hair makes it good for blending out cream into powder. It really fluffs out pretty well after washing and use. And the shape just makes it a fun brush to use.

If you want a more targeted fan brush, the Sculpt 4 is a smaller version for this and I like to use that to apply contour on my nose or highlight on my cheeks.

Small but Mighty

The brushes are beautiful and I love the wood handles.

For people who don't like short handles, this brush set is not for you. The size of the brush heads are the same size as her regular handle brushes so there's no skimping there. For. me, the small handle size doesn't bother me at all (I have similar shorter handle brushes I love).

The brushes are very soft. The mix of synthetic and goat hair on the foundation brush is insanely soft, you won't believe it's even a mix. I love this for doing my concealer and just blending in my cream products.

The 3 eyebrushes are three of my favorite from the sky eye set so I am happy to get them again in un-dyed goat hair for more versatility. I was already thinking of buying extra of those anyway. I have small hooded eyes so their size is perfect for me.

The powder brush is the one I like the least of the brushes, but I still love it. It is definitely small brush head for what I like to use as a powder brush but it can be done and will take you longer to do your face than one with a huge brush head. It will work for travel and I do love it for targeted application and blending of powder products. Its about the size of Sonia's cheek brush.

Overall, I really do love my purchases and these brushes. I recommend these as travel brushes (which was Sonia's intent), for any Sonia collector, and anyone who loves versatile short handled brushes. It is well worth the money and I consider quite a good value for Sonia quality brushes.

Better for Small Hooded Eyes than Sonia Pro Eye Set and Compliments the other Eye Sets (Sonia G or Wayne)

I have the Sonia G (SG) Pro Eye Set and the Wayne Goss (WG) Eye Set for comparison.

Flat Definer is a brush that is lacking in both original sets. This brush really lets me create a more highly pigmented under eye color in a very precise location. This is very useful for someone who has very small eyes and not that much real estate (don't want to have panda eyes!)

Mini Booster is the perfect crease brush for small hooded eyes. It has good packing power compared to the WG#19 or #20 and lets me get precise placement for my outer corner deepening shadows. The SG Pencil Pro is too small a head and the SG Crease Pro is too large for precise placement.

Soft Shader works similar for me with the SG Worker Pro and the WG#18. I actually prefer the WG#18 for my all over lid shade with the SG Soft Shader to add shimmer or more pigmented hit of color.

Classic Crease and the Crease Pro are great transition blenders for the crease, but i do find the Classic Crease to be better and diffusing the shadow for me while the Crease Pro is better at packing the color into the crease. WG#17 works well for this.

Jumbo Blender is my favorite for blending out the shades at the edges, great blow out. I actually prefer it over the SG Blender Pro (which I also love). SG Blender Pro allows for targeted blending, but the Jumbo is just amazing to diffuse the edges so that it all looks seamless.

If you have small hooded eye sets and looking for a good all around eye set, I believe this set will be much better choice for you than the Sonia G Pro Eye Set. It has more diverse sets of brushes than the Wayne Goss Eye Set which is also excellent for small hooded eyes. My recommendation is to purchase the Sky Eye Set and to get the WG#19 or #20 to really round out a great set for Small Hooded Eyes.

Excellent Multitasker for Blending into a Natural Finish - Perfect Size for Hourglass Face Palettes

If you're looking for an all over fluffy brush for wide area blending, this is NOT it. If you're looking for a small fluffy tapered brush head that gives you precise blending and powder application in small areas, then this is definitely the brush you're looking for.

It's very soft and light. The size of the brush head is perfect for any of the Hourglass face palette. I use it to apply the Hourglass powders in their targeted locations (bronzer, blush, cheek highlight, under eye powder). It gives a soft finish and complements the Hourglass powders well and any of my other powders.

I would not recommend using this with any cream or wet products. Like many of the natural hair brushes, it can easily be cleaned by running it over a microfiber cloth/towel in between colors.

This is not something I'd use it I wanted to put on a lot of product and looking for some ka-pow pigment on my face. This is definitely my choice for a natural glowing finish.
