Does not agree with my skin

I have combination to dry skin. And, I'm almost done with the first tub. And, I honestly think that this is causing my forehead to have tiny bumps. I haven't had the bumps since I was a teenager. (I'm now in my 40s.) I kept thinking that the humid weather was the culprit. But, it's cool where I live now. And, I haven't really changed my skincare routine.

Flattering!

I love how small and light the lipstick is. Also, the color is flattering--not vampy at all! Moreover, there's something about it that makes my lips look pouty and moisturized, which is a big plus in my book. I actually have all 3 colors: Happy Lips, Confident, and Pillow Talk. Out of the 3, my favorite is Happy Lips because it compliments my Asian skintone the best. But lately, I've been reaching for Confident the most mainly because of the cold weather where I live and how it makes me feel--bold. I find Pillow Talk to make my lips slightly darker than my natural lip color so I mainly use it as a gloss--over a peachy-nude lipstick. And, I like how it wears and feels. If I had a choice, I'd get all of them!

Nice summer facial oil!

I had my eye on this for quite some time after trying a sample. And, I finally got it! Surprisingly, it's not so thick like other facial oils and absorbs rather quickly. I use this alternately with Kora Organics face oil, but I will say that I like this better because it feels lighter and absorbs faster, which is what I want in the summer. Once it penetrates into your skin, it doesn't make you look greasy or shiny, but hydrated. (By the way, I have normal skin but tends to get oily on the t-zone particularly in the summer.) I like to apply this right after my toner, leaving my skin a bit moist in the mornings. And honestly, this product spreads lovely without any tugging on the skin. Once I have this patted into the skin, I finish my skincare regimen with a sunscreen. And, voila, I'm ready to put on my makeup! (Please note that this works exceptionally well under makeup.) I just wish it wasn't so expensive!

Great for hooded eyes!

I have hooded eyes and normally need small brushes to apply eyeshadows for precison. But in all honesty, finding a brush that picks up the right amount of eye product is not easy for me. I like using metallic shadows but applying them precisely where I want them requires so much time. But, the shape of this brush makes it so easy to put eye shadows on seamlessly, and I don't have to spend nearly as much as time as I used to. It's my latest go-to brush!

Disappointing product from NIOD line!

I love products from NIOD line, but this is a big disappointment! I'd like to put it in the center of my face because that's where I want to blur imperfections , such as redness and large pores. But, this product is a bit too thick for my liking and leaves my nose area cakey after a few hours. So, I avoid my T-zones where I tend to get oily and apply it where I want some highlights, such as my cheekbones. And, this works for me--it gives me a nice glow! However, I probably will not repurchase this item and look for something lighter in texture.

Disappointing product from NIOD line!

I love NIOD products, as they deliver what they claim. But, this one really disappointed me! While it's true that it gives you a subtle radiance, the thick texture leaves my nose area CAKEY after some time--perhaps a few hours later. (FYI-I have normal to dry skin and oily T-zones.) I normally mix this product with my primer before I apply my foundation because it's difficult to spread it easily on my face. Unfortunately, the texture is just too THICK for my liking. I honestly don't like the end result.

Exceptional!

I think it's an exceptional brush! The brush delivers what it claims--it really does not move your foundation and perfectly sets it. It feels soft to the touch. I'm really glad I ordered it when it was restocked because the next day it was sold out--just like that! The only downside is that it's quite small. But you do have to keep in mind that it's only $35. As far as I know, squirrel hair is quite expensive. All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase.

Smells like organic product and works well under makeup!

This is probably one of the priciest skincare care products that I use currently. With all the raving reviews that I've read, I knew I had to try it myself. At first, I couldn't get used to the smell. Having a keen nose, I was able to smell it for almost the entire day the first few days and honestly didn't really like the scent. (One person described the smell as being similar to the smell of henna). But after a while, I got used to it and actually like it! I've been wearing it mostly in the mornings right before I put on my makeup, and I noticed that it works well with my new foundation. (I use a makeup base but there's something about this balm that allows my makeup base n foundation to adhere better). However, I don't find it too hydrating for my uber dry skin at the moment with the dry cold weather where I live. I think it would work well for those with normal to dry skin. But if you have really dry skin like me, you might want to sample it first if it's available.

It's an okay brush

I had this brush for a while, and I have to say that it still bleeds. I have it in black, and I just can't understand why it continuously do that. I do like other Wayne Goss brushes as they are really soft. But, for the price of this, I expect the quality to be better and much softer. The one good thing about this brush is that it's tapered, but that's about it.

Very drying for my normal to dry skin

This is a product that I ordered based on the organic ingredients listed on the site. I'm currently pregnant, so I have tried really hard to avoid certain chemicals in cosmetics. That is why Kjaer Weis foundation became my top pick. But to my disappointment, I found that the product was too drying for my normal to dry skin. Unfortunately, it accentuated my fine lines and dry patches. But, I will say that Kjaer Weis cream blush was much creamier and blended very nicely on my cheeks when I used my finger to apply it.
