Bring back the old formulas

I have pretty much every eye palette that she’s released, and this is the worst. She needs to quit messing around with a formula that worked, best palettes were the brown/green and blue/purple palettes (the 5 pan palettes are the same shades/formula) I will be sending this back, not worth the $65 + s/h.

It’s the best of the three

I have all three, the first two are okay, lacking pigment, but good in a pinch. The third one is beautiful! I took this on a weekend trip, mascara, liner and foundation. I was good to go! The pans are small, but I think they are deep. I have some nice smaller brushes that work great with this. Highlighter is not a glow to the moon kind of highlighter, more of a natural glow. I mix the two blush shades together, beautiful. I heard a couple of vloggers say that they don’t last that long, but they did for me.

No Gold Rush for me

I want to preface by saying that I am a HUGE ND fan, and I always get her products from Beautylish because they package it so beautifully, and so well padded. I have all of her five pans 1-13 (these make up the purple/blue and green/brown palettes.) Well, let’s put it this way, I don’t have the Tropic or the Star palette. Regardless of how well this was packaged, the color Aurum, the lower right corner gold shade, completely fell out. I was able to press it back into the pan, but I just don’t think it’s going to stay, and I am worried that it would shrink and fall out again. I read in another review that someone else had the same issue. The five crystal/glitter top coats, are not for me, they are beautiful, and if you wear a glitter glue and press them on to your lid with your finger, they are stunning, but I found that mine dropped all over under my eye after a few hours. The five colors that are like this are Lime Chrome, Aurora, Brass, Sparks and Cava. The Lime Chrome with the yellow-green duo chrome effect is full of the glitter. This is the color that everyone was so excited about. I find that my MG Karma gives me that effect without the glitter. There are two colors that are so much alike that I wish they would have put a different gold-green metallic or even a matte in the palette. There are two metallic/foiled shades that are so gorgeous, it was enough for me to consider overlooking the five glitters, however, the mattes in here are so much like what I have in the Safari palette and the Camel palette. And the two metallic shades that I love so much, are very similar to some shades I have in the 6 pan palettes from Pat McGrath. So sadly, I will be returning this, and this will be my last palette that I purchase if they include these glitter colors again, I want the ND formula from her early five pans.

Color bleeds

First of all, if you like pink, just get one pink because I bought three and I can't tell the difference between two of them. Pin up pink and rising star are so similar, I also got Too Bad I'm bad, which was the darker of the three, but still not as deep as what is pictured. The texture is mousse-y, and does not spread well. It also stains the lips and looks like I've been slurping up Kool-aid. These are not worth $20 a piece, let alone $34.00 a piece. I will be sending these back. And I cannot recommend, of course, everyone's expectations are different, evidently mine were very high.

Do not spend your $ on this

I love, love ABH. Never bought a bad product from them...until now. I literally camped out on their website and waited, 11:30 CST, they go live. The site (ABH) crashes, and crashes. Honestly, I didn't know if I was going to get 1, 3 or 0 palettes. The colors are beautiful to swatch, except for Cube and Electric. Complete duds. I can't even get Cube to work with Fix Plus. But the absolute worse, is that they don't blend well. They either leave a dark mark, or leave your lid muddy. The powder kick up wouldn't bother me, that usually means your getting good pigment, but the pay off is terrible. What makes me really upset is that Anastasia reps release on social media "tips" on how to use it. As if to say "it's not our fault, you just don't know how to put eyeshadow on" Ah, "hello" your consumers are 95% makeup lovers, we are not makeup artists, but even so, I love makeup, know how to apply it well, often get asked by friends and family to do makeup for their special occasion. I could not get this to work. I do not have what they are calling the "bad" batch. Word has it if you have a P3 batch, they are worse, I have a P7, so mine does not have as much kick up, but the patchiness, the oxidation, I just can't believe that this made it through Quality testing. Until they release an improved version, don't waste your cash. I wish I could send it back, but I had to destroy the outer carton, the palette was jammed so hard in it, that I couldn't get it out. I am not sure if they will let me return it without the outer carton.
