Beauty Product Reviews

If Lisa Eldridge says it's lovely, well it must be phenomenal!

I love Lisa Eldridge, she's so talented and humble, quite reserved, sort of the opposite of Charlotte Tilbury who's so overly animated and dramatic to the point of being very exhausting. She's used this lovely highlighter twice on her YouTube channel, which is not like her, which prompted me to buy it. I'm usually not a fan of cream highlighting, I'm always concerned it will draw attention to my less than perfect skin, but this formula is really stunning, and acts like a soft filter. I do love products that are refillable too, what's the point of all the gorgeous industrial design, if it can't be refilled? I believe the ingredients are natural or organic too, which is a nice plus, so this stunning product is a complete winner all around!

The most amazing product on the market!

I simply adore this product!! Having a few icepick scars, larger pores, and generally not what I perceive to be enviable skin, this little miracle jar enables me to look flawless in minutes. It's a fairly solid, silicon, perhaps wax like texture than seamlessly blends over your troubled areas, and gives a perfect canvas for your foundation, tinted moisturizer, or just powder. A little goes a long way, and it's well priced at $25.00, I've been using it for at least 4 months and I think my one pot will last about a year, so fantastic value for your dollar. Smells beautiful too. You will not be disappointed, I've used Dr. Brant and Make Up Forever, and this is in my opinion, the superior product for a smoothing, perfecting primer. A total must have!

Adore! Gorgeous Quality and Useful.

I went on this Anna Sui accessory spree buy, where I had to have everything in the black resin collection, particularly if it had roses on it. To be frank, all of her pieces are extremely high quality and durable, and are addictively cute/pretty. I have about four of these trays that I use to organize my lipsticks and my what I call top 40 products that I use on a daily basis in my vanity drawer. Although it's not a huge tray, it's a weighty, beautifully "carved" looking piece, one holds 20 lipsticks and a large loose powder if that gives you an idea of capacity. I love them, as I do the hair brush, mirrors, combs, etc 😍.

More like "Semi Skimmed" Lashes!

Charlotte Tilbury hustles the heck of her "full fat lashes" mascara.... Full fat is what Brits called 3.5% milk, Semi Skimmed is 2%, Skim is Skim... For those who haven't lived in the UK or have British friends. It's a pretty average, non remarkable mascara, I have thick long eyelashes naturally, and I like them to look extremely full and defined. Holy grail mascara's are Chanel inimitable Intense, I only need two coats and no primer to get extremely full, curled lashes, and Tom Ford Extreme Mascara, same thing, 2 coats false lash effect. This one? With Dior Show Primer I had a nice day look with about four coats of mascara, several passes each eye! The brush is is supposed to be some innovative "star" design that curls and separates, but Charlotte, much as I like her as an artist, really knows how to spread it on thick! The brush is mediocre, it facilitates the application of the product, nothing more. If you want basic lashes at a mid to relatively expensive price point, this is for you. For divine ones, I've heard great things about that new It Cosmetics Mascara Superhero....

Divine!

This is such a unique, beautiful product. Though it pumps out "thick", it has a lovely, malleable texture, and sheers out or builds up according to your needs. For a conservative work environment, which I occasionally encounter being self employed, I'm not sure if I would wear the full on Glow look, I have applied about half a pump as a "primer" if you will, and then a touch of my usual foundation, another Beautylish great, By Terry Cover Expert, with a foundation brush (I needed only have my usual amount, the Denona product beautifully blurs and evens the skin), and I have a fantastic, corporate friendly "glow", simply the most beautiful skin ever! I think it's the first time I haven't used a finishing powder to further try to "smooth" and perfect the appearance of my skin, and I remained shine free for over 8 hours. No skin complaints after a week, so I am very pleased to give this product the highest recommendation.

Very Nice Product

I'm really impressed with Charlotte's line, my go to lipsticks are Nars, Tom Ford, and Guerlain. The wear time was superb, pigmentation rich, the consistency was perhaps not as luxe feeling as Ford's or Guerlain's Rouge G, however the price point isn't $50.00 either! The long wear time is a plus, Bitch Perfect is a stunning colour. I will be buying more from her line!
