Beauty Product Reviews

Results, but...

It has a sort of neutral bland muddled scent/ taste. It would strongly benefit from adding a flavor like vanilla or chai. That being said, it works better than *anything* else I've ever used (and I'm a serious lip product junkie). It stays on well, and works even better after exfoliation. No more flakes or dryness or cracking. I just wish it wasn't so expensive or I could get it in bulk, because it's hard to justify paying high-end lipstick prices for small tube of plain lip balm.

Luxury

Sinks right in to my skin and leaves it smooth and flake free. It's light enough that it doesn't interfere with makeup, and it works as a primer on good skin days. It's a small container, but should last a long time using about 3 drops a day. The scent is a very strong vanilla with a slightly bitter herbal edge. It's a bit too much at first, but it mellows to something truly lovely after a few minutes. Worth the splurge.

Perfect travel pallette

Ok, I admit it, half of my love of this thing is how cute it is. I get compliments every time I pull it out. The strap is sturdy and adjustable, and you can have it sit a number of different ways depending on what's comfortable for mixing and application. It cleans easily, and fits into just about any makeup bag. I'm definitely ordering a back-up.

Good value

Definitely waterproof for normal conditions. I haven't tried to go swimming in it, but it didn't smudge or flake or irritate my eyes when I cut up a whole batch of onions for a bbq. It's not clumpy, and is great for a daytime or casual look. The best part is it actually holds a curl, even with stubborn lashes like mine. Downside is I need to use another mascara on top if I really want to bring the drama.

Refreshing

It smells fantastic. I like the natural ingredients. It's refreshing, and leaves both my and my husband's skin soft and healthy. It's a little pricey for a toner, but otherwise fantastic product.

Amazing

This really is worth the money. I couldn't tell you if there is a difference between this and the cheaper stuff, but even if it's just a placebo effect, I can't go back. I had a crazy allergic reaction to a new sunscreen, and this kept my skin clean and moisturized so it could heal. I think it even sped up the healing time. Plus it smells great.

Beyond Amazing

This stuff saved my lips. My lips were basically destroyed by an allergic reaction that left them scarred and flaky and pretty gross. This is the only exfoliant that helped remove the scarring without doing further damage. You don't need a lot. It's easy to use and convenient to travel with. I can't say enough about how good this stuff is.

Texture was off

Maybe I got a bad one? The white was like a sheer gloss and was ok, but didn't lighten lipsticks unless you used a lot of it. The black was dry and clumpy and awful. Overall, not a fan.

Great ingredients

If this wasn't so watery, it would easily be 5 stars. It practically pours out of the container. It would be so much better with a pump.

It does exactly as promised, has a neutral "unscented" smell, and lasts the whole day.

Good for spot coverage

This is a godsend for hiding blemishes. Just a tiny drop and a quick blend and it's like redness never even existed. Set with powder and it stays put all day. And it lasts forever because you hardly need any. Not good for anything but spot coverage though.
