Not for blush, but perfect for highlighter

I heard sooo many good things about these brushes, and considering how much I love Wayne Goss Brushes I thought this would be good as well. This brush is very dense, and will apply color in a very concentrated spot. It doesn't diffuse very well, so if you go in with say a buildable blush at the 3rd pass you will go to far and be stuck with a concentrated spot that I have to go in and 'fix'. As a blush brush it's disappointing, I would give it 3 stars (at this price this should do the work for me). But I gave it a star back because it does a beautiful job for highlight (previously I used the Wayne Goss fan brush, this is better). I like it because it applies the highlight only where I want it and it won't diffuse it out all over my cheek and undereye, it also doesn't 'buff' the highlight to a metallic unattractive shine. If this was marketed as a highlight brush, I would give this 5 stars. If you have highlighters that enhance texture, this brush helps to make it look wearable and beautiful. So yes this brush has a place in my collection.

If your over 35, you need this brush

This brush makes my makeup look less like makeup and more like the best version of me. I have a few blushes, and highlighters that I stopped using, because they were too pigmented/metallic or patchy. This brush pick up a whisper amount of product and diffuses it my cheeks in the most effortless beautiful way. The way I see it, is if I stopped using hundreds of dollars worth of makeup because of textural issues or patchiness and this brush makes it possible to use these products again, then it's completely worth the effort. In theory I love highlighter, but it can look crazy in day light. This brush makes me glow without the crazy highlight effect. I also use this the lightly set the under eyes, and it works well.

Not an all over color.

This is one of the worst liquid lip colors I've ever used. It's super patchy. It fades almost immediately in the centre of the mouth. I wanted to return it, but realised it would cost me almost as much to ship back from the UK (next time I will buy it from Cult Beauty for free returns). Because I don't like waste, I played around with this and finally decided this works best only as a lip topper over a nude pink lip stick on the outer corner's of the lips (not on the centre of the lips, it makes me look crazy). This also looks very peachy in the tube, but pulls very very gold. Not flattering.

There is a learning curve...

I already have the airbrush wayne goss brush which is beautiful at blending and diffusing. I need something specifically for blush, I tried using the Num 14 like the Airbrush in circular motions...it didn't look great. The best way to use this brush is in downwards or upward strokes on the cheekbones. That being said, I still go back over it with the Airbrush to diffuse harsh edges. I wanted a brush that did it all with blush, this is not it. Plus it sheds! It shed when I gently took off the plastic wrap, it sheds every single day. That being said my Airbrush sheds as well.
