Beauty Product Reviews

Wayne, ya did it again!!!

This IS the softest brush I have felt from Wayne's collection. When I was notified of this brush, I had no "head's up" on it, but from having used Wayne's other brushes, does one REALLY have to ask? C'mon. Really? No, one KNOWS that Wayne's brushes are the bomb, and I just trusted everything would be ok. It WAS, from Beautylish's wonderfully packed boxes that come lickety-split to your door, so you can play with your new beauty toy! I trust Beautylish and Wayne for quality products, and if I know it is limited edition, (and we all know how fast things get around via you-tube) you better get it while you can! I do NOT regret this purchase as small brushes of this caliber are great multi-taskers. Soft brushes of this nature are a TREASURE. I also love Rae Morris' Brush #6, the Deluxe Pro Blender. Both of these are great at most smaller tasks on the face, and are luxe! Make sure you buy this before this small beautiful treasure disappears!

Delightfully useful!

I bought this brush thinking that it was strictly going in the "collection" and not being truly useful. Remember, this is blue squirrel and a laquered finish on the tube. I looked at this and thought, no, I would use this in a small clutch or in a small makeup bag. It *would have" been nice to have a small velveteen pouch to put this in, just to protect it in case anyone does use it outside of their vanity area. Another thing I wish the designer had figured out is put a smidge more room in the bottom, and a notch where the dial goes to hold the brush closed with a bit more level of security. Chikuhodo would have to drill it out before application of flowers, etc. Those are my only 2 observations, mere suggestions for change. This brush is a little work of art, from the squirrel brush which gave a goodly amount of powder on my cheek, ahhh so soft! The flowers do look as if they'd rub off if you left it in a bag, so please get or make yourself a little velveteen bag for this, if you DO plan on using it "out and about". For me, this is an affordable little treasure! So sweet! Arigato Gozaimasu Beautylish and Chikuhodo!

Wonderfully soft brush!

I am a little bit older, and my skin is much drier, so I have to watch out what brushes I use, especially around sensitive areas as the eyes. This brush is marvelous for playing around the eyes, with an added benefit of using highlighting. I find out that women over 55 need much less bronzing and a much lighter hand with blush, but can use highlighter much more freely. See videos on the "Halo" effect. If you have the perfect highlighter for you, it helps the dewier finishes out. Love this brush for that purpose. Gentle and efficient!
