Yes to that blush brush :)

I enjoy this brush a lot for blush and I'm happy with my fist Chikuhodo item. I obviously cannot compare it to the other Chikuhodo brushes but I prefer this round brush for blush to the Suqqu cheek brush (flat), MAC brushes, Make Up Forever brushes and other brushes I have. (I'd say the brush is soft enough but it's nowhere near to the almost legendary Suqqu one if that's important to you.)

My fan brush.

Perfection for highlighter. Not too soft or to hard/dense, not too big/small, not too thin or too thick – I've found my fan brush. I also love the look of it: simple and beautiful. A real 5 star product for me.

(I've read somebody using it to get rid off access powder. I prefer my Urban Decay Shapeshifter fan brush for that [but interestingly enough I don't like that one for highlighter] because I think the Wayne Goss fan brush is too soft and too small for that. To each his own. I just happen to have the bigger, "harder" and thinner Urban Decay fan brush around that did not work out for me to apply highlight.)

Oh hell no, I can't make it work.

Trust me, I'm more shocked than you are that I'm giving it 1 star. I have a lot of different brushes for my eyes so maybe I'm just spoiled or – oh, I have no shame admiting that – it is because I'm not a make up artist by any means.

I don't know why you would want to blend shadow with this one (I prefer MAC 217, Sigma E40, a Make Up Forever highlighter brush I'm misusing for eyeshadow, a no name one from a cheap set I bought as a teenager and some other brushes). To pack color on my eye area, crease or lid, it's bad, barely packs on matte (tried MAC, Urban Decay, Marc Jacobs, Juvia's Place shadows) and even worse for shimmer-y / more shiny shadows (tried Huda Beauty, Hourglass, Juvia's Place) and I prefer one by NYX (named Pro Brush All Over Shadow) or even MAC 217. For applying concealer I prefer a no name one (from that old set I've mentioned), slightly prefer the concealer brush by Kat von D and for blending concealer I love to use a MAC 217. For highlighting inner corners or browbone / under eyebrow I'm addicted to a W7 (very, very affordbale) brush from a set.

I'm glad that this was not my first Wayne Goss brush because I probably wouldn't have checked out others. I love all other Wayne Goss brushes I have, will maybe add more to my collection and love his views on make up (aka his youtube channel). This brush just is not for me and honestly, not even with Wayne's help (he has a video on this brush on his channel) I could make it work.

Flush of Blush

It can give you a lovely flush of blush/color with most products and you can build up intensity with it. People that aren't too happy with their blushes (because of harshness, getting too much color too fast) could find a holy grail with this one. (I feel like mentioning that with the heavy pigmented Becca blushes you can go overboard with this brush, too.)

The downside of this brush has to do with its unmatched softness: difficult to control the area where you apply product. Check out Wayne Goss' video on that brush and you'll see how it bends with the lightest pressure so it spreads out easily – can be a positive thing or a problem. I was wondering if people with smaller faces would enjoy the brush for blush as much as I do with my big cheeks (kinda baby face, haha).

I'm happy to give this brush 5 stars because I love it for certain "blush looks" (like a soft flush of color). This unique brush makes my smile everytime I look at it and I enjoy every second of it touching my face (soooo soft!). I knew before purchasing that this brush will spread out maybe too easily and I cannot use it for every look (no concentrated blush if that makes sense).

PS: I've never used this brush for highlighter because of its size and how far it spreads out as soon as it slightly touches my face so I cannot be a judge of that. (Never used it for bronzer because I'm stuck on my oldie but goodie Artdeco brush – my favorite for years for bronzer. Won't ever change that. It's a sacrilege.)

Life-changing for hooded, mature eyes

I bought this curler for my mother and she's wondering why she wasted years on different curlers. She says it is a wonder how well it works on her (due to aging) hooded eyes. (Plus: Best gift I've given her in a long time! Such a good daughter... :) )

Gorgeous colors

Unicorn Blood & Baby Spice: I adore the shades! I don't have anything so perfectly picked like this ones even though I have a lot of similar shades but they're never as "balanced" which of course is personal preference. Really vibes with me and is why I gave it 4 stars overall <3

The quality of the lipsticks is okay, can be a bit patchy and rather on the dry side (I, however, have MAC lipsticks and very few drugstore that are drier) but I can make it work with little effort. Purely quality-wise Unicorn Blood and Baby Spice would be 2, maybe 3 star but because of those amazing colors I ended up giving it 4 stars.

I don't really like fragrance with my make up so the vanille-like smell is not a plus for me, it hasn't bother me too much either.

NEED

Wouldn't be able to function without this. No way. (Damn, Beautylish wants me to write more... But this is the one and only beautyblender, what is there to add? Hallelujah?)

Works mostly, I'm satisfied

So, I don't know if this would have worked in my teens (probably not), it does today on my now smaller blemishes. Some disappear after one night, some need three days, only very few resist (usually the ones I get after I react badly to a new skincare product or something like that).

I apply it if I feel "something coming" or if "it's already there". It feels "fresh" on the skin, no burning or anything negative. It has a beige/pinkish/white-ish color; it will dry and stay visible (I'm single, haha, nobody can enjoy my look). The next morning I wash it off with during my normal morning routine (comes off easily).

I will buy this one again.

Surprise: Nose accepts foundation!

Finally, I found something that makes foundation stick to my nose the whole day. Not why bought this product, but that's why I'm loving it so much and will always repurchase "my nose primer".

Nice base, but...

... for the price tag and missing additional benefits it has, I'm sticking to other creams that are both more affordable (like Avene) and more expensive (like Rodial) than this. As long as it works and has "my" desired effect, I'm willing to pay more or bore people when I tell them I'm using drugstore (those are magical products) ;) It didn't break me out.
