This palette reminds me a lot of the infamous CT LUXURY PALETTE OF PEARLS COSMIC PEARLS except Violetta doesn't leave you with the dreaded "punched in the eye" look. Violetta is absolutely beautiful!!! Highly recommend!

This is my first purchase of anything from the hourglass ambient lighting line. I've wanted to purchase something for a while but always purchased similar products from other brands.
When HG announced their holiday palettes, the second I saw this adorable elephant, I KNEW that I had to have it! I have light-medium skin tone so I knew that this would work for me, but if you are a medium skin tone or darker, it might be too light.
I thought everything would be super glowy, BUT it's actually not. There is a very slight almost imperceptible glow from the two finishing powders, the bronzer is matte, the peachy blush is slightly glowy while the darker blush is more matte-ish.
The feel of the powders is so soft, and they blend like a dream! Honestly considering ordering another one as a backup and that's not something I have ever done.

I bought this awhile ago and although I started to use it as soon as I got it after a couple of days I got impatient and stopped. I hate wasting stuff so I pulled it back out 6 months later and started using it again day and night as stated on the bottle and I'm actually seeing my skin become more even.
I have hyper pigmentation from tanning for years AND having an autoimmune disease but after 2 weeks of using it day and night I am seeing an actual change!
I will definitely continue to buy!

I noticed a reduction in fine lines pretty quickly but after 2 weeks I'm finally noticing a difference in the somewhat deeper lines.
I think for the price it's worth it and even the 15ml will last you awhile!

This palette is beautiful, inside and out! It is absolutely perfect for spring! The colors are more vibrant than I expected for a pastel palette!

I ordered this palette simply because I loved the last one, Mini Love but honestly I think I actually like this one more! So if you compare the two pallets Mini Crush falls more red with a pop of pink. The color Claret is a gorgeous metallic red and to be honest I don't even care for red eyeshadow but it's just stunning!
If you're on the fence I would say get it!
Perfect for a first timer!
I have tried many brow pencils, gels, powders, etc.... This is the first true universal that I have come across and the first that I have found to be actually super easy to use especially for those that are new to drawing in brows or filling in. If you use a light hand, you get a light color and a heavy hand for darker colors. Either way, it looks so natural at the end! I will definitely continue to buy!
that smell! :(
I think this is either a love or hate kind of smell. The smell isn't awful but it is entirely too strong. That will be your perfume for the day! If it actually worked like it said (obviously I know it is not a miracle worker) then I wouldn't mind the smell but, to go through a whole month smelling like that and see not one change at all, not even in moisturization level is intolerable. P.S. people around you don't like the smell. Trust me, I heard many whispers of "yuck what is that smell" when walking through a room.
