Niacinamide is the best, EVAH!

If you are at all savvy about skin care then you know about niacinamide. I have a deep love for Korean skin care and noted this was made in Korea, that explains it all!!

Amazing

I use this about 3-4 nights weekly. I am adapting to a new tretinoin regimen. Sometimes after my night moisturizer soaks in I can tell it’s not enough, that’s when I go in with this oil and I can feel my skin soften.

Very disappointed.

I just started tretinoin for anti aging and was looking for something rich and emollient. This has a light silicone feel like it may provide barrier protection but not moisture. I took a small amount from the tube and the fragrance was overwhelming, I decided I couldn’t even put it on my face, since it was bedtime I just rubbed it in like a hand cream and it didn’t impress there either.

Delightful!

I use this every morning after the Indie Lee Brightening Cleanser. It smells amazing and preps for daytime skin care.

At least my 5th bottle

Over and over I purchase this, it is cleansing perfection! I use a full pump in the evening as a second cleanse and a tiny amount in the morning to freshen up (I have oily skin and cannot just water rinse).

Perfect basic moisturizer

This is great is you have sensitive skin and was moisture without actives, essential oils or other possible irritants.

Orange, doesn't work on fair skin

Online this appears much more beige/peach, it is quite orange in person. That being said, the orange covers purple under eye circles quite will. The problem I had was that it is too dark for fair skin, even when I cover it with my concealer. This would work for NC25 skin and up though.

visible glitter

I love Hourglass products, this blush has more visible shimmer/glitter than the others in the range. Looks very pretty indoors but when in direct sunlight is too obvious. Returned this one but still love the other blushes that have more of a sheen than a shimmer.

Ooohhh!

So pretty. I wear very natural makeup during the day so I reserve this for date night and I feel like it places a beautiful focus on my eyes without looking too made up. I use my bronzer in the crease, this on the lid and then black liner in my waterline. I have deep set eyes so I can’t go crazy or intense with eye looks, the simplicity of this is enough to elevate my look.

Natural glowing goddess

I am fair to light complexion and for the past year I was wearing a less subtle bronzer, not “obvious” but certainly not natural (Laura Mercier baked bronzer 2). I wanted a look that was more like warmth of natural skin than “wearing a bronzer”. I considered going down to the shade 1 in the LM which I already love or switching to Hourglass. Since i’ve Been switching many of my other products to Hourglass I chose this, it is just what i’m looking for. Fresh, warm, subtle.
