Orange, doesn't work on fair skin

Online this appears much more beige/peach, it is quite orange in person. That being said, the orange covers purple under eye circles quite will. The problem I had was that it is too dark for fair skin, even when I cover it with my concealer. This would work for NC25 skin and up though.

visible glitter

I love Hourglass products, this blush has more visible shimmer/glitter than the others in the range. Looks very pretty indoors but when in direct sunlight is too obvious. Returned this one but still love the other blushes that have more of a sheen than a shimmer.

Ooohhh!

So pretty. I wear very natural makeup during the day so I reserve this for date night and I feel like it places a beautiful focus on my eyes without looking too made up. I use my bronzer in the crease, this on the lid and then black liner in my waterline. I have deep set eyes so I can’t go crazy or intense with eye looks, the simplicity of this is enough to elevate my look.

Natural glowing goddess

I am fair to light complexion and for the past year I was wearing a less subtle bronzer, not “obvious” but certainly not natural (Laura Mercier baked bronzer 2). I wanted a look that was more like warmth of natural skin than “wearing a bronzer”. I considered going down to the shade 1 in the LM which I already love or switching to Hourglass. Since i’ve Been switching many of my other products to Hourglass I chose this, it is just what i’m looking for. Fresh, warm, subtle.

Simple slick of natural color for daytime.

I wear minimal lip looks on a daily basis, personal preference. I am always looking for a “fancy chapstick”, this is delightful. Beautiful texture that glides onto lips. Nourishing ingredients and it transforms to a subtle, soft pink color. Perfect if you also like simplicity in your day to day look or your workplace.

Natural finish, perfect for setting, travel friendly

All I kept hearing about this powder was “so finely milled”, I know what that means but I didn’t believe a powder could sit on the skin any differently than the others I’ve been wearing for 20 years. Oh my! This does set the skin while being imperceptible. Zero dryness or dulling of natural radiance.

Works well, pain to use though

This product really is a wonderful primer. I'm sure most of the other reviews focus on the challenges of application and my experience is no different. You must do the patting motions and work in small areas as it sets quickly. I found it works well under make up. They also mention you can apply later in the day to blot away shine however I found as I patted it on my skin it lifted the make up off and my fingers carried away the foundation and powder so I don't recommend it this way.

YUCKY

This shade is a light color with neutral undertone so the color for me was a nice match. I have very oily skin but have lovely soft skin with no texture issues. I expected this product to sit nicely on top of my skin and simply provide oil control with a nice coverage. Wrong, this is incredibly drying (and for an oily gal to say that is odd). It also created texture issues where there were none, caked around nose and was generally unflattering.

Obvious and flaky on skin, yellow undertone

This shade is a yellow undertone so its suited to that skin tone.

LOVE IT!

I love this as my light morning cleanser, just to take off the serums and facial oils I used overnight. I was not a fan of the Sensibio cleansing water however this gel is completely different. Does not dry out my skin at all, good for summer and winter.
