Doesn't work for me

I guess makeup is really personal, not just visually but formula-wise. A lot of people are having great luck with this, but I'm finding the colors all end up blending together to make a muddy mess. I've never had this trouble with JSC before, but I've also only bought the palettes that didn't have a lot of formula complaints (Blood Sugar, Androgeny). I've tried this three times and all three times I've ended up with a look so bad that I'm embarrassed to be out in it. I have normal skin, medium skin tone, and am 52, and I used this with Primer Potion and Painterly, if that helps anyone calculate their similarities or differences.

Not a smoker but even I can tell this is great quality!

I bought this for my boyfriend and he loves it! Says it's really great quality. I'm no expert myself, but I'm a cook and I can see how it works with dried herb and, honestly, it's amazing. The price point is so good I want to get another one for my kitchen use!

Nope nope nope

I yearned for this. Tried to resist, tried to tell myself I already have all the colors (I'm sure I do) and so on, but finally I gave in and bought it. Gasped when I opened it - so gorgeous. Then I put it on and it looked...okay. They didn't go on the lid as great as they looked in the pan. But within an hour or two of using it - with UD primer potion, not set - it was muddy. All one color. Not a bad color? But not a $129 color. For your reference, my skin is normal, but I have slightly hooded eyes.

This is a perfect product for what it is....

So if you purchase this, imagining a soft, diffused glow, that's not what this is. It's RCMA's nice powder formula (in what I'd call a "warm translucent" with some tiny flecks of very pretty gold in it. I have used my Wayne Goss whisper-light highlighter brush and used it as if a highlighter and it was nice, but I can also see using it on the body for a warm twinkle.

good for highlighting

This is a very, very soft brush and it's hard to pick up product with it. That might be ideal for some, but for me it really only suits for highlighter. There are other WG brushes I'd pick over this one.
