Oh yeah - and REALLY SAVOR being 30-35 because I think it's the most AWESOME age to be. I wish I could have just stopped somewhere around 32. I think it's when women are most beautiful...Not too young with no contours to your face but not old enough for Juvederm or Botox! Live it up, kiddo! *L*

Hi! I see you're a newbie, just like me (well, I think you have a day's head start *L*). I love your eyes! Green eyes are my favorite and yours look like emeralds in that photo where your hair is pulled back - gorgeous. My hair is dark brown but I've dyed it black most of my life & always wished I had green eyes. Your friend is beautiful too - you two look like BFF's. I SO wish I had a relationship like that. I used to but...well, you know - life, people my age are mostly married with kids & moved a couple of hours away - or even across the country. My best friend lived in Toronto (where I do) but got a job at NYU right after he got his PhD, which was SO awesome because I could buy a cheap bus ticket to New York & have a place to crash - & got to have fun hanging out there with him. But eventually he moved to Winnipeg (we did the road trip together - 4 days!) & then Regina (in Alberta...the prairies) because his girlfriend got a job at the University of Regina that was a "tenure track" job & even though neither of them are crazy about how cold it gets there or how small it is compared to Toronto, they both have tenure at the university now & live in a cool house they painted purple with their cats..So I guess love trumps living in one of the coolest cities in the world! (aww..romantic, huh?) My man died 3 yrs ago & it's like I lost touch with most of my friends. But LITERALLY within 5 minutes of joining this site I got 2 people welcoming me & "following" me. It seems so friendly & everyone has interesting tips & recommendations re. makeup...Seems like the virtual version of getting together with a bunch of friends & doing each others' makeup, except here you try something someone recommended & get to tell them how it worked! Did you let your natural color (brown) hair grow in now? I'd love to see a photo of it - so dramatic! Anyways...just wanted to say hi from one newcomer to another.It's a lot to navigate! Let me know if you find anything interesting, especially for dark circles because mine are totally bad-ass-not-messing-around-looking-like-i-have-a-boyfriend-who-punches-me-in-the-eyes every night. SERIOUS dark circles, like aliens tried their technique on my face before they hit the crops *L*. I'll shut up now. Happy New Year & hope you have fun on this site :-)

Well I have had a lot of friends come and go, therefore I don't have many people I truly call friends. The other woman in the picture is actually my partner. We have 4 kids together and really the only person I call friend. My hair is naturally a dirty blonde, but I recently dyed it the dark brown and red. I actually like it better this way. I'm thinking of cutting it soon into a long bob, but am kind of scared. Not sure how it would look with my face shape.
