Beauty Product Reviews

Nice, but...

Okay, so I feel pretty wrong for giving this product 4 stars in comparison to 5 stars, but hear me out. I feel like ND gets a lot of (deserved) hype on her eyeshadows, but... I am not really finding a big difference between this brand and other brands. Yes, this product is a 5-star product, but I have not PERSONALLY found this one to be the holy grail of eye shadows. Other brands give ND a run for her money. I have been on a makeup purchasing kick for the last year, and I promise you --- I do not reach for this palette. Of my collection, it's probably one of the last ones I think to use, and it's a shame to feel that way when you spend this money. Again --- 5 star product, but I gave it a 4-star due to the price in comparison to competing brands who have just as good quality.

Beautiful product ---

Holy Grail!

Norvina, Norvina, Norvina! Did you haunt my makeup dreams when making this palette, because all of the colors are perfection! I am thrilled to hear it is a permanent staple for ABH! All of the colors are so warm and beautiful. Like any other ABH eyeshadow, they are easy-to-blend, long-lasting, and perfection. You obviously get more bang for your buck when buying palettes versus singles though, so you know... get this palette and soon. If it's your first time trying ABH --- this is going to be where you want to start.

Everything Jeffree touches turns to gold!

Jeffree Star has the best liquid lips in the game. Seriously. This color is absolutely nude perfection. I am a mega fan of it, and you will be too. Kudos to Jeffree for always "nailing it"when it comes to product launches. You can never do wrong. Ever.

Simply beautiful!

So, we all know this color is now a permanent color, right? I just need to go on the record and say that Jeffree Star's liquid lips are hands down my all-time favorite. I have a ton of makeup and brands, but I can easily say that anything Jeffree Star does is done so insanely well. He seems like the ultimate perfectionist and "makeup god" to the people, you know? I know that sounds ridiculous, but he just seems to always demand quality product whether it's liquid lips, highlighters, or eyeshadows. This guy is a genius in the makeup world, and I wish him all the best. Androgyny is a beautiful color, and you will want it in your arsenal for sure.

Stunning!

I ventured into the world of Becca, courtesy of the amazing Wayne Goss. He has always promoted Becca's blushes as being some of the best blushes in the makeup world, and I must agree. I own... 7 shades now? They're all fantastic. My numero uno, best friend blush is Lantana, but all of the other shades have always been great. Blushed Copper is a gorgeous shade --- just go light on the application! The day the Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection launched, I thought, "Wow, I should get that. That's more bang for its buck in comparison." Ultimately, I talked myself out of the palette, because I just knew that I really wanted the Camellia, Blushed Copper, and Tiger Lily from the spring collections. Yeah, I spent more --- but these colors are just unlike any other. Good job, Becca!

SO MUCH LOVE!

Camellia is exceptionally beautiful, and I feel like it would look great on all skin tones. The day the Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection launched, I thought, "Wow, I should get that. Beautiful product ---

I have reviewed King Tut and Ice Cold, and I am sticking with the 5 star rating on Peach Goddess. The only thing I would like to add to this review that I did not add on the others is the size of the product. Jeffree seems to be all about his fans and his people, and everything he does is done in a manner that seems the most accessible, most people-pleasing, most wonderful way. I know it's easy to knock someone for this, that, and the other, but I really want to thank Jeffree for never forgetting his roots and his people. He delivers top quality products every time at a price point that is accessible and relatable. Snaps to you on a fantastic product launch, Jeffree!

So much love ---

So, I purchased this product the day of the launch, and I am a huge fan of it. I do prefer other colors over King Tut, but that is not to say that the product is bad. They're just all absolutely stunning. So --- I do want to compliment Beautylish on an issue that occurred with this product. Apparently, some King Tuts were delivered broken (mine was fine), and Beautylish was ALL OVER being proactive instead of reactive. I feel like an e-mail to notify Beautylish fans was sent within hours of the reported broken King Tuts, and it sounds like it was handled very quickly. While I want to give major love to Jeffree on his product, I also want to give major love to Beautylish for being the best place to buy makeup in the history of the world. LOVE this site... and this product!

If I could marry an inanimate object ---

It may very well be Jeffree Star's Ice Cold highlighter. On the day of launch, I originally thought, "Self, you do not need another highlighter like Ice Cold. Just get King Tut and Peach Goddess." Then, I decided after purchase, "Self, that was the dumbest idea ever. Buy Ice Cold." ...and let's just say it was the best decision ever. Ice Cold is my favorite of the three. It is so beautiful and... eye-catching. I love highlighting my cheeks with it, but the real deal is the inner corner highlight. Can we just have a moment of silence to respect Mr. Star on this phenomenal product? 5 stars all around.
