Hi! I saw your comment on my profile! Yes I am in an esthetician program. At my school, if we are a senior or junior we have the opportunity to take a class at another school which has a CTE (career and technological education) program which basically teaches career classes like nursing, cooking, hairstyling, esthetician, welding, etc. And at the end of one or two years (depending on the program) you can get your license in whatever class you are taking. So by the end of my junior year, I will be a licensed esthetician! But I think if it isn't a CTE program, you do have to be 18.
