If you have the $$ Go For It!!!
I once owned a medical spa so when I say I've used it all.... I really have used it all! Because my skin has become so used to the "higher" quality products.. just any ol' drugstore product wont do!! I have tried though:) But for over a year I struggled with this crinkly mess right around the dark circles under my eyes and I was SO desperate I bit the bullet and bought a little sample from one of the girls at Saks (sshhhh).. Well I'm SO glad I did!! Within days it smoothed and was plump and back to life! I use the La Mer Gel on my skin all over when I fly and when I go up north to drier climates. I can't use it everyday or I will break out. The Creme is definately best for under my eyes personally but it sure feels great all over! Especially my neck, I'm almost 40.. I kinda need it:)
My GO TO for almost every face!
I love love love this HD Foundation! I don't however recommend it for oily skin. It leaves skin radiant (its silicon based) and though it's stunning on everyone at first... the faces that shine up easilly will not like this product. For all other types though, I've never used anything better!!! It does have incredible, buildable coverage.. but at the same time it just melts into the skin and vansihes. I have almost every color in my kit.. thats excessive, you don't need every color... I'm just a MUFE junkie:) Grab a couple neutrals, cools, and warms.. mix them to gether to create any color.. They mix extremely well!! This foundation also tends to hold its color on most faces.. If you have too much moisture underneath be it oil or actual moisturizer, it will "move" and change color. Otherwise, my FAVORITE foundation to have in my kit!
Not if you already have long lashes
Though it does bulk the lashes a great deal (thats great if you don't have much to begin with) But if you have long lashes already that are just sparse (like mine) it doesn't look........ well it just looks clumpy and then after a few hours it was not only making dots on my eyelid but it had flaked onto my cheek. Lashes just get too stiff. So maybe for itty bitty lashes this is great. But I wasn't stoked about it.
