Outstanding!!!! The best year yet!

Thank you Beautylish, I was thinking not to participate this year for the lucky bag, but I am SO glad I did!!! The items I received were great and will be all used, lipstick from sugerpill, brush from sonia G (loved that!), toner from good molecules and brush holder. The icing on the cake was the Gold palette by Natasha Denona, which I would never be able to afford to thank you!!! Looking forward already to next year!

The best this year!!!

I have ordered lucky bags for a couple of years. I have to say this year is my favourite because pretty much everything was really useful and a hit for me. My favourite out of the lot was the Viseart Golden Hour palette and the Hourglass Mineral Primer. Am also excited to try the new coming soon Good Molecules Wake Up Eye Serum. Brilliant Job guys keep it coming!!!

First time purchase - mixed feelings

My first lucky bag ever. I had heard much about it and I had to get one to try. I have to say thank you to Beautylish for delivering it on my birthday January 12 (I'm in the UK) was so excited to receive and open the box. When I opened the box I was really impressed that all the items were high end important components in any makeup set. I had to knock of a star from my rating because out of the five items I received I already had 3 of the items in my makeup set. 2 of which were purchased via Beautylish ;0(. So what I already had were the Anastasia Self Made Palette, IT Cosmetics Hello Lashes and Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Moonstone. What I was really excited about were the other 2 products - Wayne Goss 05 brush and Keyvn Aucoin Matte Bronzing Veil , both of which I do not own anything from them. Regarding the items I already own, (particularly the anastasia palette and Becca) I guess they would be good if I ran out of product (which I don't think anytime soon as they are new), or gifting to other people. I just wish that a check was made to see if I hadn't already purchased them. Other than that, would i buy another lucky bag? Most likely xx

Speechless!! Great Multi-tasker!

I was on the hunt for a precision brush and I wanted to buy a good brand. I spotted this and while it is not as small for precise placement, its pretty close. In fact to me its like a multi-tasking brush. Its wonderfully soft and I love using it on crease detail, but it also great for packing on shadow on the lid, as well as precise placement on lower lash line. And wonderful for blending. It makes my eyeshadows easy to work with using such an excellent brush. Its kind of replaced 2 of my brushes due to its versatility. I am no saving up to invest in more from Chikuhodo!!!

Amazingly Good

I have been waiting a long time to buy a good eyeshadow palette. After much research looking at UD, Kat Von D (another one I am interested to try) and Too Faced, I decided to bite the bullet the try this Anastasia one. Initially I was disappointed at the pigmentation from applying with the brushes that was included with palette. But after experimenting, and using my own brushes with ranged from Real Techniques and Chikuhodo, I found applying the eyeshadows to be pretty easy and with decent pigmentation. I would have preferred stronger pigmentation on the one swipe as I found sometimes I had to layer the shadow to get greater definition. The size of the swatches for me is perfect as I never seem to use it up and they are very blendable. At the moment it is my preferred palette as nothing I have is better than this. But I am now intrigued as to whether Kat Von D provides more coverage.;0)

First time try, definitely a good buy

I have never tried Koh Gen Do products before but having read so many good reviews about the brand in general, I thought I'd try this foundation compact as a start. I had seen the brand when travelling in Asia, but being in the UK, I dont think this brand is even available. So I got it from Beautylish and I had to guess the shade which I got in 213, thanks to the previous reviews from this site, the colour was pretty much spot on to my skin colour. As a foundation on its own, I do feel it doesnt provide enough coverage for me and my skin is I would say combination with some oily parts and dry areas. I couldnt say for sure if this is the case for everyone but for me, it was not hydrating enough to provide the necessary coverage, if that makes any sense.

However, when I used it in conjunction with my liquid foundation to set my foundation or finish it, it gave an amazing, flawless finish which left my skin silky smooth and did not dry out my skin which was amazing!! I have to say this because normally one is supposed to set their foundation with powder and I have to say when I do set with powder, it just makes my makeup cakey or dry looking, or patchy so often I don't bother. So the verdict is I totally love it for setting my foundation , but not for using on its own as foundation unless perhaps its hot weather. I would definitely buy it again as I am using it now all the time. This product has made me consider purchasing the liquid foundation to try as well.
