FINALLY!!!

This just instantly became my Holy Grail lash curler. I have short, straight lashes, and fairly small eyes. I have tried the Shu Uemura and the Shiseido lash curler. While they did an okay job on my lashes, this just BLEW them out of the game.

It curled my lashes in the best angle, and on top of that it didn't pinch ANY of my skin or push on any part of my eye!! I'm still amazed. I never thought I'd find a lash curler that wouldn't hurt me. Lol.

Will forever be a fan.

Medium coverage, great for fine lines

This is a medium coverage concealer, which I really enjoy. I find full coverage concealers don't look too good on me. So I usually go for light to medium coverage concealers. It doesn't feel sticky under the eyes, and I do not feel it on my skin. The darkest color works well for spot concealing! I have oily combo skin, but my undereyes are quite dry. I am also soon 32 years old, and have gotten some more fine lines around my eyes lately. Most concealers settle in them, but this, if I use the powder, does not! The powder itself has close to no kick-back, so it is not an issue with it being cream and powder in the same container. It is very finely milled, and the lilac shade works great with my skintone. (be aware, though - it looks a lot darker in the photo than when swatched. I use shade 2/3 in Surratt foundation, and found shade 2 in the concealer to be a better match than 1. Do mind that I don't like my concealer to be a lot lighter than my foundation. If you do, then I'd go with 1)

I have subtracted a star from this product purely because of one reason: I had to have the right tool for this concealer to work perfectly for me! When I first got it I used a random concealer brush for application. It tugged on my skin, was hard to spread out, and the concealer didn't feel creamy at all. I ended up buying the Surratt Perfectionniste Complexion Brush (as I wanted it anyway), and HOLY COW, this brush made ALL the difference in my application. It now goes on super easily, and feels very silky and creamy to apply. If you have bought this concealer and had any of the troubles I mentioned above - try a different tool. There are probably other great brushes out there that will do the same job, but definetly try something similar to that brush if you are struggeling.

TL;DR - Great concealer, medium coverage, works well with fine lines, use correct tool for best application and experience.

Great for hooded eyes!

So I’ve only really had the more affordable eyeshadow brushes prior to this. And let me tell you... this really changed things for me!! Previously I’ve been using Morphe, Zoeva and some Sigma brushes. And, as I’ve figured out now, I’ve been using the wrong shapes! These are smaller, more tapered and so, so, so soft!! They pick up pigment a lot better than my other brushes, and it blends BEAUTIFULLY. So with my smaller and more hooded eyes, I can finally place the eyeshadow where I need it to be, and when I blend, it doesn’t go everywhere else. Loved them so much that I finally decided to invest some more money into brushes going forward, instead of buying more makeup. I even ordered another Wayne Goss set during the Black Friday sales. Looking forward to trying them!!!
